Historia
A personal account of the use of the Brugmansia plant commonly known as “Toé,” is revealed. The plant is native of the Peruvian Amazon and the Andes, where it’s highly revered among shamans. Despite its popularity, the ingestion of this plant is surrounded by many justified taboos due to its toxicity and many dangers. Javier Regueiro worked and studied intensively with this unique Plant Teacher in 2005 for five months, deep in the Amazon, and again in 2019.

Exeptional story of very personal journey
Revisado: 08-02-20
2 years ago at the age of 40 life circumstances invited me to finally engage with a psychoactive plant of Ayahuasca - amazonian plant I heard of since my teenage age that I was strongly attracted to but that I was postponing to try for decades due to the awarness of my own immaturity to handle such a powerful, mind blowing state of mind. When I decided to seek for more information about Ayahuasca plant medicine (right before I was about to ingest it for the first time) I signed up for Audible in order to find some valuable guidance. Despite my deepest fears my first Ayahuasca Ceremony turned out to be just a gentle invitation (from the plant itself) to break out the fear I was carrying for decades... but I must admit - it was at the same time the strongest experience I've ever had so afterwords I felt the need to talk about my psychedelic experience and found even more stories and scientific researches in order to comparr to my own discoveries. Some months later I picked Javier's previous books about Ayahuasca and San Pedro. Both books are very well organized and touches every aspect of the process from making a decision through all the doubts (that your mind may rise along the way) answering your questions in a comprehensive and carying maner and redirecting your fears toward self trust and development of the trust in this plant medicine process. The new book is a beautiful story of self discovery, inner struggles and persuit of understanding of our human nature in the times of collective, social evolution and revolution as we're witnessing a gradual shift towards liberation from past dogmas and rigidness of our masculine or judeo-cristian patriarchal way of thinking. The book shows how puzzeling is to find the ultimate true (that possibly doesn't exist due to its relativeness) as we are all an individual bubbles of complete universes boiling simultaneusly in an ocean of infinite LOVE :) All the 3 books are masterpieces in terms of first hand insides and brings us perfect support (if you are looking for sort of manual or solid preparation). These guidance books are written in as much as possible objective way avoiding all kinds of delusional interpretations we commonly find in this circle of wisdom seekers (like extraterrestrial out of earth experiences with messages and missions given by some alien entities). Very Very Recommended !

Historia
When Michael Pollan set out to research how LSD and psilocybin (the active ingredient in magic mushrooms) are being used to provide relief to people suffering from difficult-to-treat conditions such as depression, addiction, and anxiety, he did not intend to write what is undoubtedly his most personal book. But upon discovering how these remarkable substances are improving the lives not only of the mentally ill but also of healthy people coming to grips with the challenges of everyday life, he decided to explore the landscape of the mind in the first person as well as the third.

horrible narration (type of voice)
Revisado: 07-20-20
i can not explain why exactly but it was very difficult to focus on a story itself due to a type of narration...this particular tone of his voice was very disturbing. The story itself was interesting and well organized.
