I would describe this as a Horror Comedy Romance. It was fun, it was spicy, the narration was excellent. Hilarity ensued and I got alllllll the feels. Loved it

I don’t know how the narrators made it through this

This book was just as terrible as the first one. Zade is a jerk through the entire things still, has to make every situation about him. I thought the Qanon fanfic was done in book 1 but no… it lives on Hahaha! Another completely useless and unnecessary journal plot line. It turned into that movie “Hostel” for a min again for literally no reason. Zade still abuses and assaults Addie to the very last page. Oh and he’s not only Q but also Anonymous… this series is like a MAGA wet dream. Messy plot, writing is pretty terrible and the main characters aren’t even likable. Throw in a couple fart jokes and you’ve completed a total waste of time. Ugh…

Best thing I’ve listened to in a long time

As a mega Buffy fan this really hit the spot. Old favs back at it again! This was super fun, exciting and great quality. I loved it so much!!! I hope we get more of the Buffy Verse!!!!!

What in the Qanon fanfic is this

Plot was a mess. No actual romance. No character development. Laughable at best. I will not be picking up the next one. The author states that it is not based on Qanon conspiracy while having so much of the conspiracy in the book it feels like it may have started as Qanon fan fiction. The antisemitic themes were enough for me to hate this, but then there is an actor named Tim Banks, as if that’s not in reference to Tom Hanks. Aside from that the misinformation about human trafficking is abhorrent. The narrators were the only thing that made this tolerable. And the fanbase for this book on TikTok is absolutely unhinged to the point of telling men they should read this book for research on what women want in real life. I’m out. No thanks. If I could give this less than 1 star I would.

Cute Vampy Romance

This was a fun cute standalone Vampire romance. I always appreciate a Vampire RomCom especially one where the vampires are adults :) a little bit of spice and a quick witted FMC and this has all the makings of a good time. Will be looking for more fun stuff from these authors.

Sometimes you just wanna listen to a hot story about psychos trying to figure out who the best killer is

I am already addicted to anything these authors write, so when I met Niall in Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep I knew I would need his story as well.

She is doing what she’s gotta do to stay alive and life just seems to happen to her. It doesn’t always happen in a good way, okay most of the time it’s not in a good way… but she rolls with it.
She often has a “this is probably a bad idea, I don’t know what’s going to happen but here we are” kind of attitude. She’s also pretty ruthless and the things she will do to get her hands on her fav cereal…

Niall is… well let’s be honest… a serial killer. Jaded past, lots of tattoos and he doesn’t just kill anyone… I mean someone usually asks him to… usually 😏

Mateo just the man in the cage… or is he 🤔

Nice feel Good island romance

This was an easy listen. I instantly liked the characters, especially Mia, and how can you not love people who met over a mutual interest in saving a dog… heart emoji, heart emoji, heart emoji. Narration was good as well. I could have use a bit bigger of a conflict as the main characters just seemed to get in their own way and conflict with themselves more than having some really big drama moments… does that make me a glutton for punishment… maybe, but I would recommend that if you like an HEA with some internal struggle and a little found family thrown in, give this a listen. Strong work Lia… I look forward to more of your books :)

Storyline is cute, but Travis...

I enjoyed everything about this book except the super male controlled sex scenes.

In writing a virgin finally getting the man she has always wanted, this author has written the male protagonist as someone who commands, tells the woman what to do, how to feel, and demands things during sex. That rubs me the wrong way. Where he should be tender and slow and listen to her needs, he is that guy who wants control all the time.
Travis’s journey from playboy to tend heart finally finding out what love is, is good in every way except this one. His feelings for this woman are different in every way from anything he has experienced, but the sex is still described as his need to be pleased by her, and his desire as opposed to hers. He pauses on her being a virgin, but only very briefly before saying “screw it, I want her.”
It just felt overtly abusive almost.

Still a good read, would recommend, but the way he spoke to her sometimes put me off and made it uncomfortable.

Cute and sexy

Cute story, love the Ren Faire addition to this rom-com. For as many stolen glances and light kisses this has it also gets pretty steamy, so make sure you have some headphone while listening. Looking forward to the next one 😉
