Not my thing but not bad for what it is

Mixed Feelings

Let me start by saying that I almost gave up on this - as a story. I listened to the story on audible and as I listened, I came to hate the protagonists. I will not use this review to spoil the story, but I will say that the roles the protagonists plays are ones that I come to loath in real life people. I did powered through and was rewarded with a different twist than what I expected. The protagonists, in my mind, had not changed, but a reveal that came up near the end made me go 'oh!'. I will not immediately move on to the second book, but I will give some it some consideration.

Love 'A Dangerous Game' theme?

Those who read or watched A Dangerous Game would recognize this story almost immediately. I'm personally torn on how I feel about it. I often struggled with the aspect of a noob besting a season vet, but I finished the story and am ready for the next one in the series.

A bittersweet ending but worth the journey

I'm sad that this is the end, but I'm glad that I had stumbled upon the novellas when I did. I do not know if the story can translate well to TV, but I will be on the lookout for it. I recommend this to anyone who is a fan of Sens8 and other syfy shows and stories...

The last few lines , when he made his last aspect guaranteed that I will buy every new novella that comes out . Waiting for them to make this a tv series
