Historia
Far to the south of the peaceful Bellwoods, where Jon-Tom the spellsinger continues trying to master the art of turning music into magic, a sinister force has awakened: a magician with great ambition and unheard-of power. He summons lightning to do his bidding, commands an army of faceless flying demons, and claims to come from another world — one Jon-Tom suspects might be his own. If he can somehow reason with the unknown magician, perhaps they can combine their talents and find a way to go home together.

Fantastic story, and very well performed.

The folks at graphic audio do their jobs very well.
The book it's self isn't the best, but it's a fun romp and the voice actors are some talented folks.
I'm sure if you're seeing this, you're in the same boat I am... might as well finish the series, even if it's getting to be a bit of a slog 😅

Historia
Jon-Tom and his friends have seen better days. After his motley crew moved heaven and Earth to save civilization at the battle of Jo-Troom Gate, his merry band went its separate ways. Mudge, the foul-mouthed otter, eagerly returned to thieving, drinking, and whoring, while Talea, the girl of Jon-Tom’s dreams, embarked on her own adventures, leaving him to study magic with Clothahump, the irascible wizard whose inept spell trapped him in this weird otherworld in the first place.

Graphic audio nails it as always.

The twist at the end, well, 2 of em actually, caught me completely off guard. The pacing and voice acting in this one is top notch.
Definitely give this one a listen if you like magic and adventure in general.... a love of dirty jokes helps 🤣

Phenomenal work as always

I don't know how they did it but they have made one of my favorite stories in to one of my favorite tellings ever. each character is so well acted, the sound effects are perfect.
my only complaint is the reading of the appendix at the end. but it was in the book so I get it.

I will fist fight someone in a Denny's for these.
Revisado: 10-23-23
I absolutely adore this companies rendition of this book. They're already fantastic stories on their own. But the voice actors for each character, even minor ones, do their jobs phenomenally. Listening to the holy dudes preach was somehow invigorating and boring at the same time, the pained speeches hit harder. And the fight scenes, oh my word are they perfect.
I personally can't visualize much of anything in an action packed scene while reading. So hearing all the chaos, explosions, sword and fist fights is incredible.
Please for the love of all that is holy, don't stop making these.

Hands down one of my favorite books ever.
Revisado: 09-25-23
I was a little hesitant about the full cast and what not, but I fell in love almost instantly. Each character has a unique voice, the background noises were fantastic. I loved hearing all the action. I may have cheated and used a giant speaker at work to listen to it, but it made me feel almost like I was there. If I closed my eyes I could picture everything so much better.... is this what it's like for most people to read a normal book?
