Historia
The future of Anyar is being woven with threads spread across the planet. Those myriad threads contribute to a tapestry whose final mosaic remains obscure. An enigmatic alien race scattered five human castaways across the planet Anyar, far enough apart that they should never meet. The planet itself is a mystery. How is it already inhabited by humans when they did not evolve there? Castaway Joseph Colsco, now known as Yozef Kolsco, gradually finds himself at the center of resistance to an empire with ambitions to rule the world by any means necessary: Narthon.

This has been my favorite book series of all time. Wish more authors would tell stories like this. Keep them coming, please! The depth of the story and character development is fantastic.

Imaginative and well executed
Revisado: 05-17-24
Really enjoyed the level of imagination and the lack of plot gaps so frequent in this genre. Can’t wait for books 4 and 5.

Historia
The Last Marine: Book One is author T.S. Ransdell’s vision of a future American dark age where all civilians serve at the pleasure of the government. In this dystopian tale Joel Levine, a journalist/historian for the government, is given the task of creating a history to remind people why the bygone American warrior culture was dangerous to them. To do so, Levine is given Government VIP status to interview the last known veteran of the disbanded United States Marine Corps, Sean Harris, incarcerated for the remainder of his life for murder and treason.

Looking forward to the next in the series, what a great story a clear view of the way things could well become.
Revisado: 05-02-23
The author did a great job self reading the book. His energy and intimacy with the story worked. The story is well done, characters developed and emotions evoked.

Awesome concept, can’t wait for the next book
Revisado: 08-15-21
The character development is solid, the storyline is imaginative and I’m fully engaged. One gap is a real understanding of financial alignment to the times. Rent in 1960’s was $50 for an apartment for example not $300 for a studio. Small plot gaps that can be adjusted easily. I’m hoping this becomes a numerous book series!

No need for all of the overstated familial love
Revisado: 04-15-21
There are too few books in this genre. So there is an expected simplicity to the author’s character development and plot gaps. The concept is solid, the story is strong, but the flow of the stories and constant reiterating of family love is a bit exhausting.
