I absolutely love this series. I love seeing things from Moriarty's view and seeing Sherlock in a whole different light. I mean, most renditions of him have definitely lead up to this version, and I love it. I can't wait until the next installment.

I'm supposed to like Zoe, right?

Zoe isn't a likable character at all. I've listened to the first two books and thought that maybe I was being hard on her, but she truly isn't a likable character. She is very jaded and rude to people because of her own assumptions. Yeah folks come off rude because of her size, but not everyone treats her like that, yet she's still rude AF. And the people in this town have NO backbones. I couldn't imagine someone openly disrespecting my friend, and I'm just sitting there because we want a town library. This story is all over the place, some things don't make sense based off the last two books, I'm glad this was a free listen cause I would definitely have gotten my credit back.

This book is terrible. That's it.
TCWE and the books before LAD were hood street fiction, most of it realistic. But this book...she couldn't have written this. Its now a hood sci-fi/fantasy novel. The title is LITERAL. Now this could have worked, but NOT for the sequel to TCWE.

I definitely enjoyed this book although there were times that I felt the story jumped and I would have to relisten to see what I missed.

The story was ok...but the lead is beyond annoying

The overall story is ok. But the lead character became more and more annoying. She was beyond selfish and.only worrying about her own needs instead of saving the world. Her character is very annoying.

AMAZING!

This book was an excellent listen. The narrator was a great fit for this book. as an African American woman, this book was very emotional as my ancestors were stolen from their land and our culture and traditions lost. Listening to this book has me yearning for more. To find out more about where we originated from. I know it's early in 2018, but this is one of the best books I've purchased in a long time.

Would you try another book from Richelle Mead and/or Emily Shaffer?

I do love Richelle Mead and have grown to like Emily Shaffer, so yes I would, but I'm highly disappointed that this book is misleading because Emily doesn't narrate this book alone.

How could the performance have been better?

The directors and producers of this performance should have stuck with the original formula and kept Adrian as Emily had painted him from the first book.The male narrator in this book is VERY bland, and boring. Richelle's writing is still great, but his performance takes away from the Adrian that readers have grown to love.

Do you think The Fiery Heart needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

I do love this series and think that it should continue to go on, but NOT with this male narrator.
