Historia
Returning to Terre d'Ange, Moirin finds the royal family broken. Wracked by unrelenting grief at the loss of his wife, Queen Jehanne, King Daniel is unable to rule. Prince Thierry, leading an expedition to explore the deadly jungles of Terra Nova, is halfway across the world. And three-year-old Desiree is a vision of her mother: tempestuous, intelligent, and fiery, but desperately lonely and a vulnerable pawn in a game of shifting political allegiances. As tensions mount, King Daniel asks that Moirin become Desirée's oath-sworn protector.

Revisado: 12-30-22
Endless names and history and branches of family back in the South that was not very interesting. A daughter finally comes into her own and the end, but not worth the time. I didn’t come to love any character.

One of His Best!
Revisado: 08-06-18
If you like Peter F. Hamilton, I think you'll find Fallen Dragon one of his best. He's a good story-teller, so even is earlier books which were not as engrossing, were fun listens. But with Fallen Dragon, he's in perfect stride.

Deep, funny, masterful

I’m hating saying goodbye to this book. I loved the characters and their insights. What a great way to understand the Indian people and to learn a different kind of love.
The best reading of a book I have ever heard.

English but Quirky and Lovable

Mrs. P is always a surprise just when you suspect she is getting predictable. The situations get extreme, the characters unfold beautifully, and the pages are filled with humor.
