Historia
Set against the backdrop of the Age of Exploration, Black Flags, Blue Waters reveals the dramatic and surprising history of American piracy's "Golden Age" when lawless pirates plied the coastal waters of North America and beyond. Best-selling author Eric Jay Dolin illustrates how American colonists at first supported these outrageous pirates in an early display of solidarity against the Crown, and then violently opposed them. Upending popular misconceptions and cartoonish stereotypes, Dolin provides this wholly original account of these seafaring outlaws.

I expected it to be a story about pirates and instead I got a historical view of pirates. I very much enjoyed.

The reader might’ve been a little on the monotone side, but I still enjoyed the book and still enjoyed listening to him

Amateurs reading
Revisado: 03-07-23
Amateurish reading and recording but improved slightly during the reading. Try more distinction in caricatures.

Shaful history
Revisado: 07-08-22
This is an excellent book. Enjoyed it very much and is easy to listen to. It is also eye opening to the shamefully greedy people involved and the lengths they will go to do get money.

Historia
Ulysses is regarded by many as the single most important novel of the 20th century. It tells the story of one day in Dublin, June 16th 1904, largely through the eyes of Stephen Dedalus (Joyce's alter ego from Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man) and Leopold Bloom, an advertising salesman. Both begin a normal day, and both set off on a journey around the streets of Dublin, which eventually brings them into contact with one another.

Ramblings
Revisado: 06-15-21
Where is the story? No plot just the vulgar ramblings of the writer. Having said that I waited to the end to see the point of Ulysses, no point no story just a the diary’s notation of the day to day life of an Irish man…then the wife finds the diary and adds her own thoughts and desires to his.

Historia
The USS Discovery’s specialty is using its spore-based hub drive to jump great distances faster than any warp-faring vessel in Starfleet. To do this, Lieutenant Paul Stamets navigates the ship through the recently revealed mycelial network, a subspace domain Discovery can briefly transit but in which it cannot remain. After responding to a startling distress call originating from within the network, the Discovery crew find themselves trapped in an inescapable realm where they will surely perish unless their missing mycelial fuel is found or restored.

Love story
Revisado: 01-07-20
I understand the need of the love story for this book...I don’t listen or watch Star Trek for relationships but the adventure it provides. I found it tediously annoying.
