Historia
Army Ranger Sergeant Jack Grant is in deep trouble. A blazing attack on Bagram Airbase and a brutal boxing bout against a monstrous opponent have left him wounded and badly beaten. But more trouble is on its way. A court martial looms based on trumped-up charges, and with it the threat of a long spell of imprisonment. Battling enemies from both sides, Grant’s troubles escalate when he is falsely accused of attacking an infantry officer. The base commander, General Weathers, offers Grant a way out.

Geed book horrendous narrator
Revisado: 07-01-22
Every character sounds like a Canadian, Americans afghanis Russians… he can’t pronounce words and his characters voices are not consistent
Makes it hard to know whose talking.
Get another narrator and redo it.

Historia
Unfairly convicted of helping a killer in a drug-related hit, Jack Grant faces five long years in the pen. Except the judge offers him an alternative, a chance to make a difference. Grant joins the infantry, and on the 11th of September 2001, the planes hit the World Trade Center. Soon after, they ship out for Afghanistan. Grant’s unit is tasked with guarding Bagram Airbase. A safe assignment, where his worst enemy is a vindictive platoon lieutenant. That’s until the Taliban mounts a massive attack on the airbase.

Great story, terrible narrator.

I am really enjoying the story, but the narrator is horrible: mispronounced words abound and his accent is annoying. Really detracts from the book.

Historia
Renée Ballard is working the night beat again and returns to Hollywood Station in the early hours only to find a stranger rifling through old file cabinets. The intruder is retired detective Harry Bosch, working a cold case that has gotten under his skin. Ballard kicks him out but then checks into the case herself, and it brings a deep tug of empathy and anger. Bosch is investigating the death of 15-year-old Daisy Clayton, a runaway on the streets of Hollywood who was brutally murdered and her body left in a dumpster like so much trash. Now, Ballard joins forces with Bosch.

Women should never narrate audio books.
Revisado: 01-24-20
Don’t allow women to narrate audio books. No one wants to listen to a woman talk for 10 hours straight.
It’s like nails on a chalkboard.
It’s one thing if there are parts but she does Bosch. It sucia
