Jacki has two talents that set her apart from the rest of the human race. She has unpredictable glimpses of other people's futures, and she is immune to mind manipulation. Unfortunately, both talents are pretty useless for finding a job other than the one she had in the government's paranormal division. It seemed like a sweet deal, until she found out that the director planned on producing super-babies by compelling the recruits into pairing up. When an opportunity to escape the program presented itself she took it, only to find out that humans are not at the top of the food chain.

Amazing book to add to this amazing series. My only complaint is that too much is going right for the characters so my anxiety is on high alert for what Lucas writes next!!😬.
I find myself so emeralds in these Characters that I have to remind myself every once in a while that it’s a fiction! Lucas’s ability to intertwine the stories with real world events is incredible! Makes this wonderful world she has painted, completely addicting!

The only reason it’s not one of my top books, is that I have more questions about Characters outcomes than I started it with🤣. Once again I’m hooked on these incredible story lines. I can’t wait to see what Lucas does with each of these characters and relationships between them!

Jacki is still clinging to her all-or-nothing policy, but Kalugal is chipping away at her resistance. Perhaps it’s time to ease up on her convictions. A little less than all is still much better than nothing, and a couple of decades with a demigod is probably worth more than a lifetime with a mere mortal.

I’m so impressed at Lucas’s ability to compose yet another idiomatic “adult experience”, completely unique to these characters! I mean, how many different ways can someone take you step by step through intimate interactions and 39 books in they’re just as riveting as the first??!! I can’t wait to hear how their story continues to unfold.

Well the bad news about a book this good, is you absolutely can’t stop reading/listening so it’s over too damn fast! Can’t wait to see where Lucas takes us with the storyline of each of these new Characters…. These books are a must read, but buyer beware they’re absolutely addicting!🤣

Once again I am sucked into this incredible world that Lucas has painted for us! I’ve never been so entertained by any book series & continually amazed by this Author’s ability to introduce new characters & constantly keep me begging for more. I’d write a longer review but I absolutely have to start the next book, I can’t stand the suspense!!🤣🤣
