Historia
Oscar-winning actress Ardith Law is a Hollywood icon. Radiant at sixty-two, she is the epitome of glamour and a highly respected artist. But her success has come at a price: she has a strained relationship with her daughter, Morgan, who at thirty-eight still blames Ardith for putting her career before being a mother. Morgan is a successful plastic surgeon in New York City—and the distance from Ardith's Bel Air mansion is not lost on either of them. Ardith became a single mother when Morgan was seven, after her unfaithful husband died in a helicopter accident.

How many pages do you need to say the heroine was attractive
Revisado: 11-09-24
I would have let her daughter fend for herself since she wanted to disrespect and disobey her mother at everyturn, but then again her mother was just as stupid as she was rude. I know young adults push boundaries but there were clearly no boundaries set for the two kids to push against, the missing back pack scene really made me stop listening and fast forward to the That said The book was meh.. pretty princess rescued by Doofus lone ranger. Puhleees

in case you miss it after the first 2 hours of her repeating it, she lives on Long Island NY Montauk to be exact. She hangs around with famous rich peple who live in the Hamptoms. The history and bio lessons are tedious. after a while I didn't care who done it, so glad this was free, although I feel I should receive compensation for my pain and suffering.

Had to skip to the end
Revisado: 09-29-24
Hard to follow, I've listened to audio books with different time lines, but it was too crowded to follow, by the 5th rewind I skipped to the conclusion and the ending was just as I guessed. Wasted credit down the rabbit hole, where is exactly where this sory carries you

I listened to it at night to bore me to sleep. The narrator needs work on her inflection when reading the stories, her voice has a nasal quality that made it that much worse

Racist views
Revisado: 03-16-24
I know this book was written in the 90's so I guess that was the reason people of color were dissed and dismissed, love Teres Plummer in most books she narrates so 5 stars for her, but I will not read another story from this author and her air headed heroine again
