if you watched arcane and are curious about the rest of runeterra I would only get this book if you have the money to spare, it is a great read however it is very short and only gives a basic fly over of the overall lore for some regions, some regions only have 30 minutes dedicated to them while others get over an hour, most of that time tho comes from stories in the world instead of history about it so If you are curious about the overall history try watching a oyutube video about it, the "runeterras 10,000 year history" video gives almost 3x the information about runeterra than this book does and it's free plus it has illustrations so I would 100% recommend checking that out over this book.

Overall great plot, new characters, and setting!

I enjoyed almost all of this books story, the new characters were awesome! The plot was excellent, the setting was intense! Overall the only part I didn't like was that Jason gave up his resurrection power to the God of death, but besides that it was a great book and I can't wait to listen to the next one!

We listened as a family and all ages were fascinated with the incredible integrity and determination of Bonhoeffer and his colleagues. Powerfully written and meticulously researched account of courage in the face of evil.
