Charlotte couldn't escape from the prison Raymond put her in or from the dark love she found with him. Especially when she realized that the darkness was inside her too. Charlotte: I ran away from my crap life of stripping and living with my father in a trash heap of a trailer. I thought I was headed toward freedom but I woke up in another prison. A prison that was built just for me. He knows things about me that no one should. He sees things in me that I can't see. I don't want to be here. But I don't want to leave him either.

WOW! Excellent story - Very creative and intriguing

This Audible Book, had me hooked from the beginning. The narrators were excellent and I could easily follow along and only found myself rewinding to listen to the freaky physiological mind blowing situations.
JB Duvane is clearly an imaginative writer and I can't wait for Dark Love Book Two. The characters each have challenging pasts and for some reason, I am completely rooting for Charlotte and Raymond. Can't wait for the rest of the story!

1st Audio book for me, I think I can do better narrating all voices honestly. I may have found a new direction in life!
If Colin's voice didn't sound like such an innocent vs. the beginning of the book, I may have felt different. I love JB Duvane as a dark romance author in print. The voice(es) especially Colin and Lincoln killed it for me.
