this is the first book I have listened to in a long time that held my interest from start to finish. I was hanging on every word because I didn't want to miss anything.

pure perfection

It's dark and intense. Joe Arden brings Malachi to life. I've never listened to this type of story before and damn...I have listened to it 3 times. Definitely read the trigger warnings before hand. It's not a traditional love story.This is the first book I have ever listened to where the characters remain the same throughout the whole book. Joe Arden's narration is perfect.

couldn't get past chapter 5

The narrator ruined this book. The story sounds funny, but my ears couldn't take it. The narrator was simply reading the book and he gave the main character this horrible voice that made him sound like Eeyore. Every word made him sound depressed. This is a book that would be better read.

Milo and Jill are a great couple. The past and present scenes helped explain the relationship between Milo and Jill, how far back it goes, Jill's anger towards Milo. and Milo's feelings for Jill. The restaurant where Jill worked was a wonderful idea. My mom loves The Sound Of Music so I was familiar with the female characters and we definitely would have eaten there. I loved that Milo never gave up on Jill, even when she was being awful to him. It was a fun listen and the narrators did a wonderful job.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like the book because I didn't like the idea of selling someone's body, but once I found out why he was sold, I was intrigued. The story is fun and I loved the banter between the main characters. This is the first story I have listened to where epilepsy is the disability. My sister has epilepsy so I could relate to what the character was going through. I really enjoyed this book and the narrator did an excellent job.

This is full of things that will make you cringe, gross you out, and scar you. I loved it!! The main characters don't know each other long, like a few hours, before a bond is formed. It is always good to have at least one good friend, especially if that friend is just as twisted, over even more, than you. This won't be a story for everyone, but it's a great story. When it was over, my husband and I looked at each other and said "that was awesome!" It's definitely worth a listen if you have a strong stomach.

This was a fun, low-angst, sweet listen, Patience, understanding, and second chances can lead to a happily ever after. I like that the book is about the relationship more than anything else. It was a nice change to hear about Evan and London's relationship without having to listen to lengthy interactions between London's co-workers and classmate, It was the perfect length and the narrator did an awesome job.

I was so enthralled by this story, I listened to it in one sitting. The plot was intriguing, the story was captivating, and the sex was hot! I can't wait for the second book to come out!

A cute story about chasing our dreams. As we become adults, we realize our families know us better than we think. One thought out weekend trip by a sister changes everything. Callie knows what she has to do to make herself happy, something she hadn't been in years. The book follows Callie from being a workaholic to finding true happiness with herself and her Bed and Breakfast. The narrator did an ok job.

The first chapter had me a little confused, but every chapter got better and better. The story really pulls you in and the narrator did an excellent job.
