But I do not like the voice she gave to the main character Adaline. The story was fun.

The narrator...
Revisado: 08-10-18
And general she does a good job with her portrayal of the characters but she mispronounces many words and in this particular book she pronounced the word for riding horses with precision ion as dress -age and it drove me a bit crazy. I asked my friends who are horse people about it and they said it would have caused them to stop reading the book. Who edited the book and didn’t catch the mispronunciation?

He needs an heir - which means he needs a wife. When Emma Gladstone, a vicar's daughter turned seamstress, appears in his library wearing a wedding gown, he decides on the spot that she'll do.

To alleviate the boredom of his privileged life, he occupies himself with drinking and whoring, not to mention the occasional duel. A Fun Romp
Revisado: 08-28-15
Would you listen to Lord Perfect again? Why?
I am a sucker for books with savvy kids and dogs, this one has a pair of smart mischievous runaway kids that force the grown ups together. No dog but some wily, interfering members of the older generation add humor.
