Historia
Critically acclaimed and award-winning - but hardly best-selling - author Georgina Jackson can’t get past the first chapter of her second book. When she receives an urgent email from her agent, Georgina is certain it’s bad news. Shockingly, she’s offered a commission to complete a newly discovered unfinished manuscript by a major 19th-century author. Skeptical at first about her ability to complete the manuscript, Georgina is horrified to learn that the author in question is Jane Austen.

Any additional comments?
This book is just ok from a chick lit stand point. My main issue was that the main character spent 75% of the book complaining about how she couldn't possibly write anything that matched the caliber of Jane Austen. After a while any mention of how much better Jane Austen is at writing stories just made me wonder what I was doing reading this silly piece of fluff when I could actually be reading Jane Austen. It's like the book just tells you over and over again that you could be reading something really good, but instead you are wasting your time with this book. Tell me enough times and yeah, I walk away feeling like I didn't really like your book.

Historia
"I will grow and develop at my own pace. It's important to remember life isn't a race." Does worrying about every area of toddler development become overwhelming at times? If so, you are not alone! We all overanalyze and scrutinize our children's behavior. What does that face mean? What will people think if my child is crying? Is that normal? Our list of worries (big and small) never ends!

bad poetry
Revisado: 06-04-10
What's not clear in the description is that this is an 8 min poem. And it's bad poetry. It was not informative at all.

Historia
Are boys and girls really that different? Twenty years ago, doctors and researchers didn't think so. However, an avalanche of research has shown that sex differences are more significant than anybody guessed. Gender differences are real, biologically programmed, and important to how children are raised, disciplined, and educated.

Very good
Revisado: 04-06-08
This is more than just a mars vs venus statement of differences, the author gives real practical parenting advice about how to deal with your boy verses your girl on specific subjects like drugs, sex, calling home, internet use, etc. I thought it was very well read and easy to listen to. I have boy/girl twins and think it's important to realize these differences and approach each child uniquely. It would be too easy to treat each hurdle and milestone exactly the same for both children.
