Must read especially now
Revisado: 12-05-19
We are in the middle of an era of disbelief. Fake news, I’m right they’re not, us and them etc. it is time we solute the crazy ones once again. Change is inevitable and technology drives change. The world is more than us and them. It is more than making money. The world and the universe are full of wonder. I had forgotten that until this book.

Dean Koontz has done it again. Such a great book. He puts his heart and soul in each of his books. I liked the Odd Thomas series better but still worth the read.

Historia
During his lifetime, legendary martial artist Bruce Lee formulated a complex personal philosophy - a synthesis of Eastern and Western ideals - that extolled the virtues of knowledge and total mastery of one's self. Most of his philosophical writings could be found only within the personal library of the Bruce Lee estate - until John Little was given permission to publish them for the wider world.

Don’t just listen. Feel!
Revisado: 11-26-19
First for all the idiotic reviews mentioning that the narrator changes his voice when quoting Bruce Lee you all miss the point of this book. My subject line is of course a play on the “Enter the Dragon” quote because if you truly listen listen and learn from this book you will feel. You should not concentrate on the finger as it were.

Not engaging
Revisado: 11-10-19
If I could give this a zero then I would! I had to return this. It is accurate, but dry as unbuttered toast. Instead of engaging the reader in each myth, it just spouts out cliff note versions.

Historia
"No time to delay. Do what you were born to do. Fame will be yours when you do this." These are the words that ring in the mind of mild-mannered, beloved schoolteacher Cora Gundersun - just before she takes her own life, and many others', in a shocking act of carnage. When the disturbing contents of her secret journal are discovered, it seems certain that she must have been insane. But Jane Hawk knows better.

Advice about food can be confusing. There's usually only one thing experts can agree on: some ingredients - often the most enjoyable ones - are bad for you, full stop. But as Aaron Carroll explains, these oversimplifications are both wrong and dangerous: if we stop consuming some of our most demonized ingredients altogether, it may actually hurt us.

Captivating all the way through.
Revisado: 02-05-19
This seems like it will be a decent series of books. Seems out of his normal but well wrote and a page turner. Dean researches and writes about the latest technology and thrills. I would love to see Jane Hawk come out victorious but art imitates real life and it seems unlikely. Jane is one bad chick but how many people can she trust and stand up to without losing everything.

Revisado: 01-19-19
Could not finish this. Ok any book that talks about dick pic this and old girlfriends that is going to “kinda suck”. Total let down. David is an amazing actor but not a very good writer. His life story well at least the 4 chapters I struggled through sounded like a national lampoon movie. Some are ok but this was a flop.
