Nice collaboration! Entertaining and intriguing

Enjoyed. Interesting to the point of listening to multiple episodes at a time.
Yes, Molly was a bit throat-scratchy and Lou sounded like an older man. But - both characters were like able and I would absolutely ride along on more adventures with them!

RomCon in a Musical!! Fun easy listen.

Fun & romantic with catchy tunes - but listen through speakers
Revisado: 04-10-23
. . . or headphones, just not your device on speaker. I tried, and the layered sounds stacked upon each other and I couldn’t separate the dialogue. But using headphones or the car speakers, you can enjoy the experience of lovely beginnings with a flavor of London.

Historia
As a child, Jory Fleming was wracked by uncontrollable tantrums, had no tolerance for people, and couldn’t manage the outside world. Slightly more than a decade later, he was bound for England, selected to attend one of the world’s premier universities. How to Be Human explores life amid a world constructed for neurotypical brains when yours is not. But the miracle of this book is that instead of dwelling on Jory’s limitations, those who inhabit the neurotypical world will begin to better understand their own.

Probably better to read than listen
Revisado: 01-08-22
and I love to listen. But I just can’t continue. Winik is loud, slow, and overly annunciates as if she were reading to a second grade class. I respect the time and effort she must have put into this project and love the subject matter. I was so looking forward to learning from this. And I did. But the experience is just ruined when having to constantly adjust the sound and speed between Fleming’s calm, conversational delivery and Winik’s abrasive one.

Worth 2 Credits!

I found this work during a $5 sale and saw all of the positive reviews. They were right! This was a 19 hour historical fiction (? 😉) that held me from the beginning. WWII is always a draw for me, though I think I would have missed this one if not for the sale. If you are thinking that this one sounds like it may be good . . . just know that you very likely will find it better than expected.
