Alot of Information
Revisado: 02-05-23
This book was jam packed with information. So much information I couldn't take it all in. It sounded as though the information was very thorough, I just couldn't keep up.

At times, interesting. It felt like alot of sports references. I'm not into sports so my mind tended to wander. I thought I'd learn hows to make the rare finds. But I'm not sure I did.

Interesting breakdown of the common personality tests available. Lots of resource reference, which you can't see bc it's an audio book. I liked this, but wouldn't really be using it to read other people. I'd use for myself.

Historia
Does nature really make us feel better? The 3-Day Effect takes a look at the science behind why being in the wild can make us happier, healthier, and more creative. Whether it’s rafting down Utah’s Green River, hiking in Utah’s wilderness, or walking through Rock Creek Park in Washington, DC, scientists are finding that the more exposure humans have to nature, the more we can benefit from reduced anxiety, enhanced creativity, and overall well-being.

An interesting listen, not a book you could read.
Revisado: 10-31-20
The author shares experiences she had with researching the three day effect. Interesting stories, a good bit of cursing in the beginning. I'd recommend it for a listen if you're curious about the three day effect. It makes you think you should at least try it. There doesn't really seem to be any negatives. Not the type of book you could read because the people speak for themselves and you gain insight on personalities from listening to their voices.

Not a long book, which is good. Lots of practical advice, but somewhat simplistic. Perhaps negotiations are that simple? I was expecting something different. Felt a little like a sales pitch guide.

Historia
Most organizations and individuals work in the context of annual goals and plans; a 12-month execution cycle. Instead, The 12 Week Year avoids the pitfalls and low productivity of annualized thinking. This book redefines your "year" to be 12 weeks long. In 12 weeks, there just isn't enough time to get complacent, and urgency increases and intensifies. The 12 Week Year creates focus and clarity on what matters most and a sense of urgency to do it now.

A wealth of knowledge
Revisado: 04-19-18
Where does The 12 Week Year rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
By far, this book was one of my most favorite I've listened to. Definitely a re-listen, multiple times.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The 12 Week Year?
I loved the breakdown of how to actually accomplish the 12 Week Year for yourself. There's no fluff in this book.
What about Tom Pile’s performance did you like?
Great, solid, voice.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I really liked the step by step actions. Usually, I listen to audio-books in the car or while on the treadmill. This book I took notes!
Any additional comments?
Worth my monthly credit!
