Historia
Leading in today’s dynamic, ever-changing environment is harder than ever. The stakes are high. Expectations of leaders have increased. Competitive landscapes are evolving at a quickening pace. The real challenge of leadership isn’t creating a vision for your team or building the right culture. It isn’t goal setting or communicating effectively. The real challenge isn’t even hiring or firing people. No, the real challenge of leadership is doing all these things at once when deep down you feel like an impostor.

Personable and relatable
Revisado: 07-11-24
I thought this book was well crafted for anyone who is seeking to become a better leader and a better example within an organization. The author weaves together wonderful concepts that help align the principles that matter for both personal and professional growth and development. I enjoyed the personal stories along with the practical applications of certain principles, that have helped make Nathan who he is today.

Historia
How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

Great read that will expand your perspective of others
Revisado: 11-05-19
I have enjoyed many of Malcolm Gladwell‘s works, but found this book interesting and fascinating. I believe that much of what we see is framed in the context of our own experiences. This book opens new doors and windows to see others in a different light.
I enjoyed the stories, the examples and the expansion of my own understanding of how we look at and engaged with others.
