Historia
In Act III, we follow Morpheus on a grand journey to take care of family business. He visits with his son Orpheus (Regé-Jean Page), an act that brings with it profound consequences. Accompanied by Delirium (Kristen Schaal), he tracks down their estranged brother, Destruction (David Harewood), the only member of the Endless ever to abandon their post. And at an inn at the intersection of all worlds, a group of travelers are forced together by a storm that threatens to destroy reality itself, with grave repercussions for Morpheus and the rest of the Endless.

There are dangers and adventures in the graveyard for a boy. But if Bod leaves the graveyard, then he will come under attack from the man Jack - who has already killed Bod's family…

Historia
When a daring, high-tech CIA operation goes wrong and is disavowed, Michael Dunne sets out for revenge. CIA operations officer Michael Dunne is tasked with infiltrating an Italian news organization that smells like a front for an enemy intelligence service. Headed by an American journalist, the self-styled bandits run a cyber operation unlike anything the CIA has seen before. Fast, slick, and indiscriminate, the group steals secrets from everywhere and anyone, and exploits them in ways the CIA can neither understand nor stop.

Excellent story!!
Revisado: 05-09-20
I enjoyed the story. Quick and easy to grasp. It really pulls on the emotions. Poor Dunne went to hell and back.
The one thing that did not fit, for “this story” was the reader. Main character is in his 30-40 and the presenter wasn’t right for the range of younger characters. He was great as the older characters. But ranging younger was difficult. But in no way does this observation take away from the production.

Historia
Young Hiram Walker was born into bondage. When his mother was sold away, Hiram was robbed of all memory of her - but was gifted with a mysterious power. Years later, when Hiram almost drowns in a river, that same power saves his life. This brush with death births an urgency in Hiram and a daring scheme: to escape from the only home he’s ever known. So begins an unexpected journey that takes Hiram from the corrupt grandeur of Virginia’s proud plantations to desperate guerrilla cells in the wilderness, from the coffin of the South to dangerously idealistic movements in the North.

Strong as an Ox!!
Revisado: 03-03-20
Coates’ has written a story so vivid and powerful, that one feels how slavery felt. The despair hits you hard to feel how parents who’ve lost their children had to find a way to find peace of their lost. But the joy in finding or learning news about them can go both ways.
Brother Morgan’s narrating was excellent and in parts very powerful. Conduction!!

Historia
The Professor and the Madman is an extraordinary tale of madness, genius, and the incredible obsessions of two remarkable men that led to the making of the Oxford English Dictionary - and literary history. The making of the OED was one of the most ambitious projects ever undertaken. As definitions were collected, the overseeing committee, led by Professor James Murray, was stunned to discover that one man, Dr. W. C. Minor, had submitted more than 10,000.

History is funny
Revisado: 11-08-16
Interesting story to about the contributions of complicated persons who society tags as useless. I bought this book referred by a podcast about a person who was incarcerated and barely illiterate, who taught himself to read better and contributed in the same way to editing the encyclopedia. Editor corresponded with him while incarcerated, never met him while he was inside. Lobbied the warden when they took away books. Provided the inmate with a job after release.
Simon Jones as usual, excellent. Why did he not read the unabridged version?

Breathless and painstakingly researched, this is a stunning debut mystery in which Sherlock Holmes unmasks Jack the Ripper. Lyndsay Faye perfectly captures all the color and syntax of Conan Doyle’s distinctive nineteenth-century London.

I enjoyed this book thoroughly.. The narrator was solid with the characters. The author's story was well written, vocabulary as Doyle would have used was spectacular.

At the age of forty-eight, Cicero—the greatest orator of his time—is in exile, separated from his wife and children, tormented by his sense of failure, his great power sacrificed on the altar of his principles. And yet, in the words of one of his most famous aphorisms, “While there is life, there is hope.”

Rerecord with Simon Jones
Revisado: 01-26-16
Long awaited end of spectacular trilogy. A good ending, would have been better with Simon Jones reading. David did a noble job trying to stay true to the delivery of the previous narrator in voice and style. I applaud him for that. For those who would want to give him harsh critique, do not. He narrated An Officer and a Spy by Robert Harris and was marvelous.
The story was littered with its many twists and turns. For anyone who listened to the trilogy, I felt like finishing a course in suspecting the unexpected, lesson of patience and executing at opportunities' door. Paraphrasing, whenever your faced problem and can't see the outcome. Start a fight and an answer will be presented.
I'm going to start a fight.. Support this comment if you want a 2nd recording with Simon Jones as narrator.
There are many audio books recorded for the same works.. Why not this one..
