Good book but funnier than I thought it would be
Revisado: 04-21-25
When I first started this series I was hesitant because it was pretty heavy with the far left communist garbage but then I realized it's actually
making more fun of it than anything else and kind of shows the failing of that ideology they preach equality but at the end of the day it goes straight to authoritarianism and full of hypocrisy just like
Jason so I feel like I really dodged a bullet with this book series because when I first started this book I really liked all the stuff that was going on the detail it painted a beautiful mental image very creative
book but the far left brain rot concerned to me and I was afraid that it was going to be kind of toting for it and I was pleasantly wrong it surprisingly was well-blended in with the story once you realize it's
making fun of it and everyone else keep in mind Jason's from Australia and his sister's husband makes fun of America for killing brown people and Jason plays into it funny little job but once you
remember you know Australia is also mostly white they killed a lot of brown people themselves in their own home country and elsewhere so it actually kind of inspires you or encourages you at least to learn a little bit about history wouldn't expect
something like that from a fictional book but I think that's where they really caught the spark of creativity with this series is that they try to keep it just close enough to reality but still clearly fiction
and I think that's really rather clever I don't know if anyone else have done it but this is the first time I've come across a book series like this that's done
it and done it well so two big thumbs up to the author and an extra thumbs up to all the people doing the voices

Many years and even more levels have passed since Jake and friends entered Nevermore. With quite a number of floors passed, they turn their attention to the Challenge Dungeons. These Challenge Dungeons offer – as the name suggests – unique challenges and circumstances, and completing them will earn each Nevermore competitor points and multipliers to their existing points. As things unfold, it quickly becomes clear it’s through these dungeons that the true top-scorer of the Nevermore Leaderboards will be found.

good but
Revisado: 03-24-25
I like it but it's hard to say because the past several books have been kind of I don't know they feel a little stretched out but at the same time I think he kind of have to because it's just kind of like one of those stories where you know it needs that extra detail so I like it but at the same time it's a bit much I think my biggest problem is jigs archery kind of sucks and I would really like to see him do a little bit more at least in the later books eventually get a little bit more into it especially since he has this kind of like I don't know what the right word is and you know kind of you know purest look at it especially considering his hate for the crossbow I think there's a lot that could be done with just the arrows alone that Jake would be able to get really creative with that especially with his arcane affinity and his poisons and curses and so on here's a lot of things that you could do with his arrows hoping to see that happen in later books but when compared to another Archer it wasn't for his bloodline that you would have been dead hands down despite how much he likes archery it's kind of you know stone age when it comes to it but that could change in later books it's hard to say because it's kind of a slow book series not to say that I don't like it I do just kind of feels like Jake has a character starting to slightly I do mean slightly stagnated it I'm hoping I'm wrong to be honest I'll still probably finish the series even if he does start to stag me it's a good enough book as is I it would just kind of fall low on priority I'll probably stop pre-ordering and I'll more than likely wait till it goes on sale or something if it starts to stagnate hoping I'm wrong I really like the serious I hope it keeps going strong

Burning down the lab will do that. But every cloud has a silver lining, and after being let go from his most recent job for unsanctioned experiments, Alph is given the chance to blow off a little steam with a cutting edge new game that isn’t even out of beta. It's called Nova Terra.

good book

I like The Titans series as well as this book I also want to say I'm very impressed how much is in this book within the time frame of the story because I listen to books same length of time but they fill an hour's worth of time with just so much meaningless rubbish the book ends before you make any real progress where the Titans series does it suffer that problem

No sooner had Thorn stepped into his new role as Titan of Earth than the enemies of the Duchy pounced, their armies flooding into Ironhold. With barely enough time to plan their defense, Thorn and the Wolfkin are forced into battle against forces that outnumber them five to one. To make matters worse, other guilds who have long eyed Nova Luna’s position, are eager to cut Thorn and his friends down to size. Hemmed in by enemies on every side, the only way to overcome this world shaking challenge is to cut straight through it.

good
Revisado: 03-03-25
My only complaint about this series is the reader consistently almost completely through the series uses the wrong voice for certain characters every so often he cracks it pretty quickly but it's still obvious I suppose only upside is that it doesn't happen too often but it is consistent still a great book

Historia
A sinister cabal of corrupt law enforcement personnel, intelligence agents, and military officials at the highest levels of government plotted to overthrow a president. Even after they failed, they continue to secretly pull the levers of power without any accountability to the American people. This isn’t the synopsis of a fictional spy thriller. This is what is actually happening in the United States government.

Very good and informative
Revisado: 02-03-25
I think this is one of the first insider books that I've ever listened to it was actually really well made and put together in a way that was easy to understand and follow very informative also extremely disturbing I would recommend this to anyone and everyone who is not very political or extremely political even if they don't agree with the book the information in general is worth it and if you stop to think about it a lot of it you can see when you look back very clearly once it's pointed out if you haven't noticed it before I'm very appreciative that this book was made they say ignorant is bliss but at the same time ignorant will get you killed or thrown into the gulag after being tortured so inform yourself question everything fact check as much as possible get your information from multiple sources and this is a source I would strongly recommend
PS
I was not paid or asked to leave a positive review just in case anyone was wondering :)

A few problems but overall good
Revisado: 01-27-25
I'm not giving this full marks because it does you know have some problems One lot slower than previous books way too much pointless chit chat to the point where I wouldn't even say it's character building some of the slower parts yes there is character building there but there's I don't know kind of came across a little like filler in a couple of areas but other than that I like it the ending Don't worry no spoilers This is probably the best part for the reader he did a very good job made it very emotional and I will give the author credit that is quite the little twist I thought it was going to be slightly different I was close but not quite and the fact that he made that twist was very impressive very imaginative but back to the reader I had to give his performance a four too many times he gave the wrong character the wrong voice several times he gave Cielo I think I spelled that right Harold's voice and he did that with a few other guys in the book I think I only noticed it because I did a recap of the other books before I did this one and throughout those books the past several weeks He's done it throughout the entire series but in this one got pretty bad but if you made it this far I would still strongly recommend the book it's funny there's twists a good emotional scene I'm not going to lie I cried a little which wasn't very good since I was driving lol but would recommend

very good 💯
Revisado: 01-10-25
Only real comment I have is that I wish it went a little bit longer at the end of the story where Ruskin introduce his his most energetic friend I think the reaction would be pretty good and I'm not saying too much I don't want to give away any spoilers but other than that I think it's a really good book it's taking a long time to get out but that's the price you pay for quality do I wish it came out sooner Yes Am I willing to sacrifice the quality of the book to get it sooner no way it's one of the reasons why I love this series it's so carefully and artistically produced and it would be a huge shame if that was to change so I just say think the time that you need keep turning out and masterpieces

A part of me wants to run away again. The memory of my death still haunts my dreams. But this is my home now. And I'll be damned if I give it up without a fight. I mean, all I have to do is learn how to navigate xianxia politics and train for battle while simultaneously running my farm and uncovering an ancient cataclysm that apparently destroyed the Azure Hills back in the day. Meanwhile, I'm about to be a father . . . Man, I'm kinda screwed, aren't I? At least I can call in the cavalry—ahem, poultry—to help.

Revisado: 12-27-24
I only really have two complaints and when is more like a possible complaint and that first one is I hope the fifth book doesn't take as long to come out as the fourth one did although I think I can understand why it does I'm sure there's a lot of research that goes into the series but the other one is I'm not a big fan of the constant jumping around near the end a little bit of it is okay but as frequent as it got towards the end got a little old

Good but has problems
Revisado: 12-17-24
I originally gave this book five stars across the board but I listen to it again and I had to give it overall three performance 5 and the story for because there's a lot of fluff where there doesn't need to be and near the end a reminder that's completely useless and the ending of this book is horrible could have been good but there's so many contradictions that kind of ruined the ending unless if the Nextbook really kind of breaks it down but still lose points for bad writing at the end of the book I mean they didn't even really have to change anything they could have just stopped it a little sooner or maybe if they went a little longer that could have fixed the screw-ups
