The Historical Content
Revisado: 01-06-25
I liked the historical facts and the authors use of actual narratives to support his content. It was interesting to learn things about Emmit Till, Junetheenth and other facts about the life of slaves. The authors grandmothers perspective was invaluable. She lived through much of the history. She reminds the listners that many people stood up for their rights but they were killed. The book was a somber reminder that racism still lives on and was not that long ago. We have come a long way but we still have a long way to go. Great read. Perspective changes depending on where you are as a family that endured slavery or participated in it.

The Resurrection accounts of Jesus in the Gospels are the most dramatic and impactful stories ever told. One similarity unites each testimony - that none of his most loyal and steadfast followers could "see" it was him, back from the dead. The reason for this is at the very foundation of the Christian faith.

Great Read
Revisado: 12-03-22
The writers perception of faith mingled with the Bible and events happening today is spot on. For me, this read was a great reminder that the times may change but Gods word does not. I believe it challenges the reader’s to walk in the spirit of God that should outweigh your race, and religious designation because you are a member of the body of Christ first.

Nice story
Revisado: 08-21-21
I enjoyed the lighthearted story line. I like how the couple met and the progression of their relationship. The author captures the emotions of people that fall in love when it seems impossible for them to get together because both have bustling careers with demanding schedules. I am glad they were able to find a solution and to have a life together. Anything is possible if you are willing to take risks and to give yourself a chance to accept love. I recommend it! I also enjoyed the narration very much.

I loved this story!
Revisado: 07-18-21
Michelle N. Onuorah you may be my favorite new author. I throughly enjoyed your story telling. I loved how you brought all of the complex elements together for this story. I loved the Masterson family- each one of them except for JJ. I was surprised that it was a story about faith, redemption and love. I am a Christian and this was a very fine piece of writing. My heart is warmed for Aiden and Jane. I recommend your work highly. I will definitely be following you. Well done!
