Exquisite Escapade Enveloping Entrepreneurship

While I bought the physical 📖 at a library sale in Los Altos, I barely cracked the cover. When Antonio (who does not sound like Pus In 👢 from Shreck) was let go by 🍎 because 🍎 apparently couldn't find and read this international best selling book before hiring Antonio, I decided to buy his audiobook so I could listen to it as I pedaled to work. Having lived in Silicon Valley from my birth at Stanford to high school graduation, I must say Antonio's biography is accurate or even a cleaned up view of Silicon Valley life. The audiobook was extremely excellent. Please buy it ASAP!

The excellent advice and insightful stories full of unreleased details of Scott Adams' life experiences were engrossing. However, while listening to his car wash experience, I nearly chocked on my breakfast due to Scott Adams producing involuntary, spontaneous laughter in me. No wonder Scott Adams suggests the Simultaneous Sip...if you listen to Scott Adams and drink coffee outside of the Simultaneous Sip it could be a humorous medical emergency!

More philosophically deep than funny

Overall I found the presentation quite moving. I came here for the laughs. And Bill certainly delivered on the laughs. However I got much much more than I expected. I got deep insights into life, family, growing up and other items. I got the book expecting the audible equivalent of a good soda and got the audible equivalent of a soda with a side of Texas BBQ that would serve 20 people. Good job Bill!

In The Black Swan Taleb outlined a problem, and in Antifragile he offers a definitive solution: how to gain from disorder and chaos while being protected from fragilities and adverse events. For what Taleb calls the "antifragile" is actually beyond the robust, because it benefits from shocks, uncertainty, and stressors, just as human bones get stronger when subjected to stress and tension. The antifragile needs disorder in order to survive and flourish. Taleb stands uncertainty on its head, making it desirable, even necessary, and proposes that things be built in an antifragile manner.
