Sloan will go through hell and back for those she loves. And she does so, every single day. Caught up with the alluring Asa Jackson, a notorious drug trafficker, Sloan has finally found a lifeline to cling to, even if it’s meant compromising her morals. Great Story, Great Characters
Revisado: 06-19-24
Loved the story line and how it portrayed domestic violence. How the abused feel trapped and think there is no way out. How the abuser will go to any length to destroy another human is unfathomable. Thankfully it wasn't Too Late for Sloan.

Historia
I'm getting really good at cutting my losses. First, the husband. Divorcing him was the best decision I ever made. But between single-parenting and job-hunting, I can't catch my breath. When a celebrity blogging position falls into my lap, I'm determined to succeed. That is, until I get my first assignment and actually see Noah Frazier for the first time...practically naked and dripping wet. My heart races and I forget how to form complete sentences. His chiseled abs, irresistible smirk, and crystal blue eyes are too perfect to be real. So, what do I do? Get drunk and humiliate myself, of course.

Historia
At the young age of three, while I was at school, my mother was murdered by her abusive new boyfriend. What would happen to her five unintentionally abandoned children? The heartbreak of the devastating loss of my mother was just the beginning of a series of tragic events that shaped my childhood. Lost in the chaos of abuse, I was the unseen collateral damage of domestic violence. I was forced to take on the role of the invisible child for self-preservation. I figured you can't hurt what you can't see.

Revisado: 02-09-22
True story of how domestic violence and child abuse affects a family. Very sad and traumatic for those involved. This is how one woman found a way to survive and to tell how her childhood abuse carried on into adulthood and how she saught help. She decided what she was not going to accept in her life anymore. A true heartbreaking ordeal.
