Historia
Joel Salatin is perhaps the nation's best known farmer, whose environmentally friendly, sustainable Polyface Farms has been featured in Food, Inc. and Time magazine. Now, in his first audiobook written for a faith audience, Salatin offers a deeply personal argument for earth stewardship and calls for fellow Christians to join him in looking to the Bible for a foodscape in line with spiritual truth.

Historia
Already cited on the floor of Congress and discussed in the corridors of the Pentagon as a book all Americans should read, One Second After is the story of a war scenario that could become all too terrifyingly real. Based upon a real weapon - the Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) - which may already be in the hands of our enemies, it is a truly realistic look at the awesome power of a weapon that can destroy the entire United States.

Where does One Second After rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Starts out seeming very realistic, Then some events progress and you think, Nah! too far fetched. BUT, then you look at how Americans behave on Black Friday, and you think, how would these same people behave in a post EMP country, and the book probably does not go far enough. Definitely thought provoking. I am a non fiction fan, but there is enough real possibility in this to win me over. Be ready to question what you thought was the secure future of this country. This book will point out that life as we know could be turned on it's head for the rest of our lifetimes, literally in one second.
