Twisty and Addictive
Revisado: 04-04-25
I listened to The Locked Door on Audible and, true to Frieda McFadden’s style, it completely pulled me in. The plot twist was brilliant—one of those that keeps you guessing until the very end. I genuinely didn’t see it coming!
The narration was okay—not the best I’ve heard, but good enough that it didn’t take away from the story. I found myself listening non-stop, completely caught up in the suspense. Another gripping thriller from Frieda that proves she’s the queen of unexpected endings.

Gripping Thriller with a McFadden twist
Revisado: 03-04-25
Do Not Disturb was another fantastic listen from Frieda McFadden! As expected, she delivered a gripping story with an incredible plot twist that had me second-guessing everything until the very end. She has a way of pulling you in and then flipping the narrative in a way that leaves you completely hooked.
The narration was solid, and I appreciated that the narrator’s voice worked well even at higher speeds—I typically listen at 1.5x, and it still flowed naturally without losing any impact.
If you love thrillers packed with suspense and unexpected turns, this one is definitely worth listening to!

Slow Start but a Fantastic Twist!
Revisado: 03-03-25
I listened to this as an audiobook, and I really enjoyed the narration—it added depth to the story and made the characters feel authentic. While the beginning felt a bit slow, I’m glad I stuck with it because the plot twist was absolutely worth it! The way it unraveled in layers kept me engaged, and by the end, I was completely hooked.
If you enjoy thrillers with a twist that gradually unfolds, this one is definitely worth a listen!

Great plot twist
Revisado: 03-01-25
I really enjoyed The Perfect Son—it had me hooked from start to finish, and I ended up listening to it in one sitting on a Saturday afternoon. The twists kept me engaged, and Frieda McFadden’s storytelling did not disappoint!
However, the narration fell flat for me. It lacked authenticity and didn’t quite bring the characters to life the way I had hoped. Fortunately, the strength of the plot made up for it, and I couldn’t stop listening.
If you love psychological thrillers with unexpected turns, this one is worth a listen—just be prepared for a narration style that might not be for everyone!

I love this narrator. This is a great book I thoroughly enjoyed it. There are some points where the story drags a bit but it picks up nicely. Easy to follow and fills all the gaps well. Looking forward to the next one

Great narration, you can feel the real life experience of the author in this crazy struggle with alcohol but the real joy she now feels. I feel this has brought a real breakthrough for me and my relationship with alcohol while striving for bigger healthy living goals. Really grateful to have heard about this book on the Chalene Show on you tube. Inspiring
