I like the premise of fixing your life after amnesia, and utilizing ether and beast cores is good, even the idea of nobles, because we know that people like to climb the ladders of wealth and power, then pull them up to prevent others doing the same. Then came chapter 21 and chapter 21.1...if you want to write porn, then write porn, adding a second chapter from the perspective of a wolf in the room, just made it creepy..
sex scenes in books are like shit in brownies, doesn't matter how little shit you put in, I still don't won't eat them..I know some can't find enjoyment in books unless they have sex....

we're you looking a book to remind you of the days of squiggly lines while you try to watch porn on the TV in secret...well that's what this is. At the start I thought maybe it would change, but now it's just bad dick jokes, and ogling everyone he sees, because it's been a while...sad, as now I will add the author to my do not buy list, some may find it good but there's only so much 14 year old boy hormones you can deal with in a make believe story

I enjoyed this, one. I was confused by some of the choices the author had the MC take..ie I have a class that will get me burned out if I am caught, so let me tame this beast, which is prohibited and move it to my room..kid is supposedly a street rat, that knows better than to attract attention, and then does nothing but attract it...
that being said I enjoyed it

I tried, I did, I made it passed the depiction of all the women (6hrs in) as lust objects, walks into a bar, chick wants to bang him on site, bangs friends mom at first meeting, friend wants to bang him..I mean a whole chapter of BS about how ugly the friend was until the deviant goddess blessed her with books like her moms..then there is the necromancy...starts out as a healer, and then gets necromancy on top, makes a choice that will see him arrested on site at any human town...

So I read the synopsis, and read the reviews, and thought I will still give it a shot. Sure, the Gods have the world on lock down, with town folk stuck in town, at their jobs, regardless of all else, and skills every two levels, with your first at 4, and next at 6, but being hard capped at 4 until you turn 16. But you may need to go a bit deeper...so the author has a rule of consent, so no killing unless it's consented (of course loop hole), no sex for children under 16 (enforced by Gods), and no sex between an 18 year old and a 19 year old...all seem like great ideas....except the protagonist just turned 16, and his girlfriend is 3 months younger...would be no big deal, except for evey other chapter being the author writing about a 16 year old trying to grope a 15 year old, or writing about their love life....seriously it's a bit creepy the amount the author writes about a 15 year old,

A female protagonist, as written by a perv

5 hours in, and all I can think, is the guy that wrote this, most likely plays female characters in video games and has them run around naked, so he can stare at their butts on the screen.. what college age girl is going to just be okay with being naked for the rest of her life.
now throw in the author's imagination of "well I normally wear mini skirts, and most of the time with no panties, so this isn't that bad"
won't be buying the next one. it's just creepy.
Laurie Winkle did a good job, but not sure how she could keep a straight face

so I liked the premise, right until the author's anti-gun/anti American, socialist bent, got dumped in the readers face.
Corporations are bad and evil, solider are kill crazy, being able to defend yourself is troubling. Meanwhile, just go with the flow of raiding towns and looting things, with the folks that took you as a slave, because who are you to judge their way of life... And then we got the, OMG you used the system, you are a perversion, because oh, the bad guys are Christians who go to church, and don't believe in magic, even though it's on another planet, and fireballs are being thrown around, and giant spiders can talk
