Cara Bastone wrecked me forever for reality and makes me believe in love and friendship and humanity at the same time. I want to live in her stories! Her handling grief and loss with a delicacy and reality that makes me weep and long on behalf of the characters gives hope that whatever life throws at you, it will all be well in the end. It will be hard and heartbreaking, but the broken heart is the one that grows bigger and stronger and loves more fiercely.

I couldn’t wait to get my ears on Ashley Poston’s newest book and it was worth the wait. She never ceases to amaze me with her humour and heart, with the way she seems to speak directly to me and from me. Every author and book she mentions in the story is like a secret smile and a nod towards me, the reader, and I feel seen and appreciated and held in this community of fellow booklovers. Thank you for another unforgettable adventure ❤️

That’s why I love audiobooks!

I can’t quite imagine reading the book in paper form when there is such a feast of musical accompaniment to be had in the audiobook. It is such a pleasure get lost on this world of music and magic and every time I listen to the story over and over again I want to start to learn playing the piano, get deep into musical theory and listen to all the classical music out there.

Too magical for words

Every tiniest detail and every shimmering sentence seeps with old and irresistible magic. I remembered this story from years ago, but couldn’t remember how and when those memories were created. Now, revisiting the Night Circus (or stepping into it properly for the first time?) I am breathless with delight and long for just one more chapter of this enchanting tale. Anyone in love with magic in any form will be irreversibly drawn into the black and white striped tents filled with wonders, tales and adventures.
