Historia
The McCready Family Funeral Home and Bait Shop has crickets running rampant in the store and hot sauce in the Snack Shack's ketchup bottles. But as the county coroner, Frankie has enough on her plate without worrying about the increasingly mean pranks being played at her family's business. And the arrival of Sheriff Eric Linden, both devastatingly attractive and painfully taciturn, is enough to push her over the edge.

Half a story at best
Revisado: 10-07-19
This reads like Molly wrote half a story, stopped, and handed it off to be recorded. The other short stories from Molly Harper have a beginning, middle, and an ending. This one ramps up to action and then ends. Nothing happens. We meet characters and that’s it. What the heck???

Historia
Foxlowe is a crumbling old house in the moors - a wild, secluded, and magical place. For Green, it is not just home, but everything she knows. Outside, people live in little square houses, with unhappy families and tedious jobs. At Foxlowe, Green runs free through the hallways and orchards, in the fields and among the Standing Stones. Outside, people are corrupted by money. At Foxlowe, the Family shares everything. Outside, the Bad is everywhere. At Foxlowe, everyone in the Family is safe - as long as they follow Freya's rules and perform her rituals.

Hoped for better
Revisado: 06-08-17
This was an interesting listen, but it wasn't the best written tale. Granted, it is told from the perspective of a child, but it went south too quickly. Too many inconsistencies.

Historia
The circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not. Within the black-and-white striped canvas tents is an utterly unique experience full of breathtaking amazements. It is called Le Cirque des Rêves, and it is only open at night. But behind the scenes, a fierce competition is underway - a duel between two young magicians, Celia and Marco, who have been trained since childhood expressly for this purpose by their mercurial instructors.

Complex story with interesting characters
Revisado: 02-27-17
This may seem at first like a standard man vs man tale, but it evolves quickly into a more intricate plot. There is romance, intrigue, murder, and magic. With Jim Dale narrating, Ms Morgenstern's first book is delightful.
