Label thirsty and str8 f$&#ing

Although the characters were the same from book 1, this story didn’t deserve a whole book. The story was drawn out with nothing but labels being purchased/promoted and banging filling the chapters. There was ZERO substance, ZERO minimum romance, and ZERO twist to follow.

I’m highly disappointed as the first book was Very Good!

True definition of not knowing your worth

The narrators were perfect and refreshing. The Nigerian accent and native language was the perfect touch! I want more of the male!

If there was ever a time to blame the women….This wife, Lay irked my ever lasting nerves (and the bff). Telling hubby what she want and getting mad at him cause she begged him to adhere to what she wanted is insane. Blaming him for her made up thoughts … is CRAZY. I understand emotions are unstable after loss. This was a good man! Failing to communicate with her spouse and not listening cost her marriage to fail. She lost her worth with her words, actions and demands. Her dame best friend showed all the signs! But how dare Lay even have feeling when her ass tainted that dame kitchen 1st!

More shit he had to deal with.
More displaced anger for Sienna actions failed on the “the other woman” symdrom as well. I wanted to shack her and Lay a couple of times. If she knew her worth and held her standard as high as her mouth, she would have completed her job without interruptions.

At the end everyone ended up with who they were supposed to. My greatest love is when the writer showing the work being put in and not a jump to happily ever after. The author left nothing to question. Great job author!

My only critique is, I wanted more of Sienna at her job in a clinical setting. I also wanted the husband to find out about the bff. He deserved that “ahh ha” moment.

Pure Romance

I love the story line. He was the true definition of a stand up man. She was lucky to have him as a lover and friend. I love that the author did not write porn in this novel. It was beautifully written. I was waiting for biological father to come mess everything up but he was where he needed to be the entire time. I absolutely love the kids name were of Egyptian gods. Great job author.

My only critic would be

1) there wasn’t enough of previous characters Loving MAN. Although the previous characters were mention. This story line is completely different. This story can be a different series on its own. (Much like Alexandria House does) I would love a novel written on BGs over coming grief of her husband and finding new love with the pastor at MANs ceremony, accepting MAN and her relationship with Angel’s mom.

2) I wanted more of Kem’s and his brother’s ability to stay away from street life. I want more of Kem’s family story, He seemed to not be involved in his family affairs, as much as they supported him. The mother and father clearly still love each other.

Mental awareness is the key to this series

I almost gave up on this book 1/2 through but my love as a housemate couldn’t allow me to. At first it gave me forest gump and Jennie love vibes. No matter what she did he 🎶“just can’t let go”. The story was very predictable in the exact order it transpired. I wish there were more details on crystals and mama Ayesha discovery and treatment plans. Even crystal’s mom giving input on signs she saw in crystal’s younger years of illness. I love that AH is bringing awareness and reinforcing “it’s ok to not be ok.”

Now can these two narrators split and work with others cause everything is sounding the same at this point. They work very well together but too much of a good thing ….. IS A THING!

Love u AH! (Imagine Ford and Unc sitting at a bbq talking about ish only they can understand, I need someone to put THAT on screen!)

Narrator duo

These two must be the official narrators of everything housemate related. They perform well but too much of a good thing isn’t good for anyone. I’m starting to get confused on which book I’m listening to… But IMMA KEEP ON LISTENING CAUDE I LOVE BEJNG A HOUSE MATE! Everything AH writes is amazing and never disappoints. I be imagining which actors and actress can fulfill the roles cause I manifest that she’ll get a hired but some network to write a tv series of her characters. The way she tells each story with appearances of old characters is absolutely FLAWLESS! #anotherone #housematelover

Cute story. I wish the author prolonged the “fix it stage” longer. Too many stories fly by the how do we grow/learn without showing how to Turkey work through issues. Overall the outcome was predictable with any plot twist. That is the reason we like Christmas stories right :-). Good read to pass time or listen to with teenagers

Mommy daughter time

Great read for mommy/daughter bonding. I purchased her the book only to find it at the library, so check there first. We will read book two. Excellent plot twist excellent narrative!

Terrible writing great performance

The narrator was amazing but this story was written with urban tales and no logic. One mine Morgan is deaf, the next min she’s not. I don’t know why raven forgot my an wasn’t present during the robbery of her home or never questioned him. Young or not that’s on an sense. Why didn’t raven or ethnic suspect Mixon being behind their home invasion? Why didn’t she kill that Mizan when she drugged him? Why when she escaped she didnt tell Ethnic the whole story and why in the hell would he brings the girls to pick her up not knowing what condition she’ll be in…. I’m mean NO LOGIC THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE BOOK! if it wasn’t free I’d give the story one star. The narrator was great! Without audible I’d burn this book with life after.
