love Coben's mysteries. This story is a winner. The female narrator is extremely difficult to listen to. l will not listen to another with her dropping the end of every single sentence.

Historia
Elmwood Springs, Missouri, is a small town like any other, but something strange is happening out at the cemetery. Still Meadows, as it's called, is anything but still. Funny and profound, this novel in the tradition of Flagg's Can't Wait to Get to Heaven and Thornton Wilder's Our Town deals with universal themes of heaven and earth and everything in between, as Flagg tells a surprising story of life, afterlife, and the mysterious goings-on of ordinary people.

Is there anything you would change about this book?
Is is really necessary to use foul language? Not everyone wants to hears those words. I liked the characters, but won't be listening to or reading another in the series.

Too many descriptions
Revisado: 01-04-12
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
I finally gave up and fast forwarded to see how it ended. Maybe I should have found an abridged version. I found all the 'shades of black and white and gray' tedious. And all the character description of how they felt, what they saw, what they were thinking was unnecessary. The premise was interesting, but got lost in all the repetition.
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
Narration was good.
What character would you cut from The Night Circus?
I wouldn't cut a character....I would cut the repetitive descriptions of what things looked like and how people felt. I got the picture the first time round!
