Historia
Ingersoll Lockwood invented the fictional character Baron Trump in 1890 for a two-part sci-fi/fantasy series about a privileged boy who undertakes a sequence of fantastic voyages. The style of the Baron Trump series - a mix of fantasy and young-listener-oriented science fiction - anticipated and may have influenced L. Frank Baum's Oz series. The second in that series, Baron Trump's Marvellous Underground Journey, describes Baron's trip to the Earth's interior via an opening in the Russian Arctic.

Great Fun Adventure Realavent to Current Times
Revisado: 02-06-22
Great Fun Adventure that could be relevant to current situations. I love the dog's humanness and the bond between boy and dog. The narrator is perfect. A well written book! So much better than Ingersoll's book "The Last President,"which doesn't seem to be written by the same author to me, and is not written well like this book. I definitely recommend reading this book and the other Baron Trump book!

Historia
This little booklet was penned at the end of the 19th century, and ostensibly involves events mere years later. A work of political satire, it chastises the rise of socialism and populism, inferring their fictional rise here as disastrous and leading to chaos. It is of note here that this work, along with others by Lockwood, appear to prognosticate the current political climate of the United States and West at large - and for an apparent religious Catholic of his era, it is not altogether impossible that Lockwood - wittingly or unwittingly - tapped into some mystic forces.

Stupid, Wag-the-dog story. Written poorly.
Revisado: 02-06-22
Stupid, Wag-the-dog story. Written poorly. Mirror-mirror change of characters. In my opinion, this book was written recently to undermine the United States sovereignty Not worth the time. Watch the movie Wag-the-Dog and you will understand why it was written.....
