By all accounts, Stager seemed to lead the perfect life in her community in Durham, North Carolina. After her husband, popular high school coach Russ, died tragically, the police were inclined to believe her story - that she accidentally shot him. Suspicions rose when the police discovered that Stager's previous husband had died similarly 10 years prior.

Murder most evil
Revisado: 11-18-21
How cheap life has become. We all have two faces one we present to the world and the other to our families. We are all guilty of things but hopefully not murder. Our justice systems all over the world seem to favor the perpetrator and condemn the victim.

Life is Cheap
Revisado: 11-08-21
How terrible that life is cheap that the victims get little sympathy and the perpetrators are felt sorry for. How appalling that children whose parents give them everything are in return hated . One has to ask the question whether indulging children is a good thing .

During it, she told Sandy to drop the restraining order and get back together with Ken. Pen was never seen again. One man stood to gain from Pen’s disappearance: Ken Carpenter. But evidence was bleak: no blood, no DNA, no body. Until detectives found notes hidden....

Historia
By all accounts, Thomas Gilbert Jr. led a charmed life. The son of a wealthy hedge fund manager and a financier, he grew up surrounded by a loving family and all the luxury an Upper East Side childhood could provide: education at the elite Buckley School and Deerfield Academy, summers in a sprawling seaside mansion in the Hamptons. He was strikingly handsome, moving with ease through glittering social circles and following in his father's footsteps to Princeton. But Tommy always felt different, and the cracks in his façade began to show.

My review of this book
Revisado: 07-03-21
I have read the book before. Enjoyed listening to the audio but difficult to follow all the medical explanations as a layman. My husband died i January this year and although I have always believed and read other NDE experiences it comforts me and I hope my husband has found his heaven.
