This is a summary of The Complete Guide to Fasting which tackles an unspoken dieting concept: fasting. And don’t take it the wrong way, fasting is not starving oneself to lose weight. If done right, it can be really good for your body.

Painful to listen to...
Revisado: 10-11-18
Get ready to hear everything mispronounced. Even simple words like carbohydrate & glucose were butchered. I can only hear crarbohydrate & gluclose so many times. There were four places in the audible book that were repeated sentences. Terrible over all. I thought I’d give this a go until my book came in & I wish I hadn’t.

Dick Hill IS Jack Reacher
Revisado: 12-15-17
My first audio version of a Lee Child book and I LOVED IT!!! I won't watch the movies because Tom Cruise would completely destroy the persona of Jack (no middle initial) Reacher, but I'll listen to Dick Hill every chance I get now.
The storyline is one of Child's best yet. The supporting characters are as strong as Reacher and some as endearing in their own idiosyncratic ways.
Wholly and completely an enjoyable adventure on all sides; characters, setting, writing, story, narration.
Highly recommended without reserve.

Horrific Narration! Atrocious accents.
Revisado: 01-14-15
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
I SO wish that Zachary Webber could have narrated these books. His sexy voice would have made it a wonderful experience. Dina Pearlman was down right painful to listen to. Such a bummer. I was spoiled by listening to the Irin Chronicles first.
How could the performance have been better?
Zachary Webber, please read these to me?!
Any additional comments?
I will stick to reading thesee books. Dina Pearlman was HORRIFIC.

Reader is a FAIRY! Read it, don't listen to this.
Revisado: 07-22-14
Would you try another book from Joe Nobody and/or Brandon McKernan?
The story is great. The reader is HORRIBLE! Bishop sounds like a happy toddler ALL of the time. Even in the middle of a gun fight! He has a sing song tone that sounds like he's skipping through the park with ice cream. And balloons. On a rainbow. With his pet unicorn. Every character has the same annoying sing song voice. UGH! I couldn't even finish & ended up returning it for the Kindle version. I wish Frank Collison would have read all of them. He's the best by far!
What didn’t you like about Brandon McKernan’s performance?
EVERYTHING! Horrible.

Terrible..
Revisado: 07-19-14
Would you try another book from E. Nesbit and/or Renee Raudman?
We love E. Nesbit stories & have read or listened to nearly every one. This one was a huge BORE. The children I I just couldn't get into it. There was no climax, just boring mundane details of which made NO sense at all.
What didn’t you like about Renee Raudman’s performance?
Worst I've heard so far. Her British accent was horrible. When she would "turn it on" the accent sounded like an Englishman raised on the border of Texas & Mexico. Brit with a southern twang. Bad. Bad. Bad,

Historia
He runs his own business and coaches Little League. She drives a minivan, and she'd be lost without her trusty BlackBerry. They go on date nights. Their kids attend public schools, play sports, and take music lessons. They live in a roomy house in the 'burbs. They're about as mainstream as families come. They're also polygamists. The Dargers move the conversation away from child brides, Warren Jeffs, and the FLDS to more mainstream polygamists who willingly enter into plural relationships as adults.

Wonderful story of what TRUE plural marriage is!
Revisado: 12-23-12
What did you love best about Love Times Three?
I so appreciate the fact that they had courage enough to start the turn of the public view of plural marriage! Thank you all! Their lifestyle is a CHOICE that the women were & are open to make! Theirs is a committed family & that's much more than anyone can say for the majority of American society. While I am not LDS of any sort I fully support how they chose to live. How different my life would have been had my parents not divorced & had to deal with all the troubles forced on children of what is so "normal" by today's standards! I do not know them, but is't obvious that the Darger parents are incredibly devoted & capable to emotionally support every member of his family. In addition, anyone ignorant enough to automatically assume that ALL polygamists are child abusing monsters I would ask that you take a look around you. These horrors are all around you. Where are YOU while Millions of "latch key" kids are being abused by "family" & neighbors!?!? I beg you to open your eyes, STAND UP against child abuse! Plural marriage do not equal child abuse! Thank you again, Dargers!
