Tina Fey conveys her life story with expediency and expressive anecdotes in her own voice and open-hearted tone. One can not ask more of an author than to discover what is true in their own life and share that informatively, energetically and with a great appreciation for what is entertaining. Self-editing is a hard battle for someone so strong in her sense of self and extensive public acclamation. Ms. Fey manages it all while subtly acknowledging the fleeting moment that is life, here and now. I thank her for fighting through any fears or condemnation to reach out and touch my heart, mind and soul with this clever book.

It's a good book to help relax with your choice or accept your circumstance of an only child. Studies and anecdotal evidence offered makes argument for feeling okay with one child family. However, I was looking for a book on how best to raise an only child. This book is not it. Previous reviews indicated but I did not believe that a case for having an only child and being content could last all 5+ hours. It was compelling and calming but left me without any help to raising our only child.
