Could have been one book

This could have been book because this entire series was a little boring. There truly was no definitive plot, climax or ending and this went on for 3 books unnecessarily.

This is what I call unnecessary. Why this audio was 14 hours and there is no more depth than this I don't know! It could have been told in less and had the same impact!

Could have much shorter

7 hours of this could have been cut out. I felt like there was so much fluff and the story going in several directions! It was an ok story and Enrico was a convincing complicated character but it became unrealistic after a while because the book is so long!!

I’m not sure what is going on in this series. I understand it’s a biker series but I don’t need to be introduced to every character in one book especially if they are not contributing to the story at all. It’s confusing and I no longer knew what was going on with Link and Lily and this is their story.

The main characters of this story were boring. They did not carry the story along and I found myself wanting to know more about Walcott and Hendricks. Bianca’s little brother was more interesting. I found myself bothered by the age difference also. I don’t care what the age of consent is, there is no way fictional or real without perversion is a 30 year old enforcer attracted to a 17 year old girl. And she was a girl by all means. Naïve, immature in that teenage way, and in high school!! I don’t want to read part 2.

It started with a good plot attempt

I like the premise of dark romance. Let’s be real, the female main character is weak. No one goes from being kidnapped and tortured then in the next chapter your in love! No backbone at all and that unfortunately set the tone for the whole trilogy.

This could have been one book!! The story drags unnecessarily through book 2 forever when it could have been wrapped up in 2 chapters! This is not classic Anna Zaires nor Charmaine Pauls! After awhile the characters just became watered down and drowned in the lackluster storyline!

Not quite…

I don’t like to leave bad reviews but the story was lacking. It was borderline boring. Lena and Arlo were boring characters which made their story lackluster. The danger was boring not enough to remain the source of conflict for the entire book. I do like duel narration and wish more audibles were done this way.
