Play life as a game and tune into your power, purpose, and love, via the sixth sense. Therese flies through the marriage of the mystic and the scientific; perception and time; the sixth sense and evidence; energy and creativity; sex and relationships; dreams, death, and healing; psychic kids and medical 'anomalies'; and develops the Method she devised as an energy healer for tuning into 'the voice inside that knows...don't think, listen...'

I hate to give anyone a bad review. Actually, this is not a review at all because I couldn't get past the first 10 minutes due to the reader's vivaciousness - really this is just too much for one's ears. Readers please have compassion for listeners. We want to hear the message not your enthusiasm for the message. Remember that we have small speakers in our ears.

Historia
Who was Rumi, and how does he continue to speak to us today? On Song of the Sun, Andrew Harvey, the Oxford-trained authority on Rumi and author of several modern spiritual classics, takes us inside the extraordinary life and teachings of this prophet and poet. Harvey sifts through the many legends and tales associated with Rumi's life to reveal a rich and inspiring portrait of what a human being in love with and empowered by God can become. He mines the thousands of odes and quatrains composed by Rumi, and shares the most sumptuous and ecstatic works, all with clear relevance to our spiritual lives today. At a time when we are hungry for a divine vision of our world as it can be - and should be - Song of the Sun is an invitation to Rumi's most sacred and glorious feast.

Excellent
Revisado: 10-23-07
This audio book is only for those who understand and want to reach out to the mystical side of life. Harvey is an excellent spokesperson for the Mystic poet Rumi and his slow manner of speech is perfect for a greater understanding into the depth of Rumi's beautiful poetry. I give this reading a definite 5 stars - this is one of the few audiobooks that I have that I will listen to over and over.

Historia
Why we think it’s a great listen: Some books are meant to be read; others are meant to be heard – Water for Elephants falls into the second group, and is one of the best examples we have of how a powerful performance enhances a great story. Nonagenarian Jacob Jankowski reflects back on his wild and wondrous days with a circus. It's the Depression Era and Jacob, finding himself parentless and penniless, joins the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth.

What a dynamite story - I loved the recall way in which it was written, starting off with the memory of age and then going through the past. This is one of those rare reads that I have listened to more than twice. I highly recommend this book.

Historia
In six minutes, one of us would be dead. None of us knew it was coming. So says Wes Holloway, a once-cocky and ambitious presidential aide, about the day that changed his life forever. On that Fourth of July, Wes put Ron Boyle, the chief executive's oldest friend, into the presidential limousine. By the time the trip came to an end, Wes was permanently disfigured, and Boyle was dead, the victim of a crazed assassin.

I rarely write an unkind review of any kind and I won't here. I will just simply say that the synopsis given of the book is "way off". If you are hoping to learn Masonic secrets and how Washington was designed you are much better off looking it up on the Internet. This book was just another cops and robbers and not very good at that. How it rated the NY Times Best Seller List is a mystery to me.
