Every book I read by Larry Correa leaves me feeling like a kid the day after Christmas… calculating the wait till the next one comes out. An awesome book, great narration, and characters you don’t want to say goodbye to. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Interesting storyline but threadbare character motivations. I enjoyed the authors perspective on ware wolves enough that I will try the next book.

ANOTHER TWISTED MASTERPIECE
Revisado: 12-03-12
If you could sum up Feast of Souls in three words, what would they be?
Mysterious, captivating, and dark!
What did you like best about this story?
I enjoyed the way C.S. Friedman portrays internal struggle of a tormented young woman determined to survive by any means. Even if it means killing a part of herself.
Have you listened to any of Elisabeth Rodgers’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Elisabeth Rodgers has done an outstanding job with this narration. Each personality comes through clearly and never had an issue with confusing voices during conversations.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
I really have no ideas.... Sorry for the lack of creativity here...
Any additional comments?
This is a brilliant idea taking concepts from childhood fairy tails and turning them into realistic and for the most part horrifying realities. C.S. is always a good read when you want to identify with the darker half of your imagination and fall in love with an evil protagonist.

Clever mystery and adventure with a tad of romance
Revisado: 12-03-12
What made the experience of listening to Elantris the most enjoyable?
The story line is captivating! Each of the main characters are easy to like and I found my self excited to read their parts of the story In turn... As opposed to getting frustrated and wanting to follow one character through to the end then go back for the next...
What was one of the most memorable moments of Elantris?
I found myself daydreaming about the characters quite a lot when I was unable to listen and thus I must say there really wasn't one moment I can pin point. It was a fun story all around.
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
I had a little trouble telling some of the characters apart... The narrator was not very good at portraying different female voices and sometimes during a conversation I would be confused who was talking. This could however be due to my listening while working night shifts....
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
As with most if Brandon Sandersons' books I became very attached to the characters and cried along with their sorrows and laughed at their witty moments. I was sorry when it ended!
Any additional comments?
It's is a good stand alone read. If you have enjoyed Brandon sandersons other books you will enjoy this one too! If you haven't ever listened to his work before this is a great place to start.

Historia
Twelve-year-old Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of boarding school...again. No matter how hard he tries, he can't seem to stay out of trouble. But can he really be expected to stand by and watch while a bully picks on his scrawny best friend? Or not defend himself against his pre-algebra teacher when she turns into a monster and tries to kill him? Of course, no one believes Percy about the monster incident; he's not even sure he believes himself.

Enjoyed it as much as my kids
Revisado: 07-08-12
I have listened to this book twice now. I first wanted to listen to it because it was made into a movie. I'm one who prefers to listen to or read the book before I see the movie. I was drawn in to this book because of the mix of Greek mithology and adventure. The second time I listened to this book was with my son on a long road trip. He is seven and it captured is imagination the entire trip. He is now listening to the fourth book and hopefully he will be interested in actually reading Rick Riordans books as his reading comprehension improves.
I was impressed how well the author understood the mind set of the age group he is targeting. The insecurities and moral dilemmas his characters go through and the way they over come are great life lessons for the child audience targeted. These books are clean and fun and have opened a world of interesting concepts to my child that have interested him in books.
The narrator does well with the performance. All his characters have distinctive voices and are easy to follow. I can't complain about the voices I found annoying because in all reality most of the annoying voices were for annoying characters.

Surprise! I'm witty!!!
Revisado: 07-08-12
What made the experience of listening to Theft of Swords the most enjoyable?
I really enjoyed the witty characters! I often found my self laughing at the dialog between characters and even anticipating how one will react to an upcoming situation.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Theft of Swords?
I must say my favorite moment in this book is a comment made by a young boy after seeing Hadrian beat his brother in a sword competition...
Have you listened to any of Tim Gerard Reynolds’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is a first listen to Tim Gerard. I found a couple of his voices to be different from how I would imagine them sounding but then again you can only make a male voice so feminine....
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Miracle workers! And that's why I'm not in the film industry....
Any additional comments?
When do we get book 3?!
