The Great Depression was not a crisis for capitalism but merely an example of the downturn part of the business cycle, which was generated by government intervention in the economy. Had this book appeared in the 1940s, it might have spared the world much grief. Even so, its appearance in 1963 meant that free-market advocates had their first full-scale treatment of this crucial subject.

If you supported Ron Paul then this is the book for you otherwise skip this one and read (The Global Impact of the Great Depression, 1929-1939) it is A far better book and does not seek to make the U.S. Government out to be the Great Satan.

I enjoyed this book very much but I have to say I liked The god Delusion and God is not great much more...I guess it really depends on what style you like more...Over all I think it makes a good addition to any library and I would highly recommend it.

I had to say that, I would buy this book for everybody in the U.S. If I thought they would read it. I was already an Atheist when I read this book and I suspect that most of you who will read this are as well. Thats great you will love this book its a masterpeice. Just promise to give it to a Christian when your done.

I loved this book a must read for every wild west and Billy buff out there..He sends you past the myths to the man or rather the kid.This book tells The Kids whole story not just the Lincoln County War. All the information is up to date plus it was well read.
