Historia
Mallory Greenleaf is done with chess. Every move counts nowadays; after the sport led to the destruction of her family four years earlier, Mallory’s focus is on her mom, her sisters, and the dead-end job that keeps the lights on. That is, until she begrudgingly agrees to play in one last charity tournament and inadvertently wipes the board with notorious “Kingkiller” Nolan Sawyer: current world champion and reigning Bad Boy of chess.

A new favorite!

I genuinely enjoyed the narration of this book! I feel like it added so much to an already great story. It’s become a new favorite, I highly recommend it!

Historia
When seventeen-year-old Bailey starts a new job at a hotel waterpark, she is less than thrilled to see an old acquaintance is one of her coworkers. Bailey met Charlie a year ago on the long flight to Omaha, where she moved after her parents’ divorce. Charlie’s cynicism didn’t mix well with Bailey’s carefully well-behaved temperament, and his endless commentary was the irritating cherry on top of an already emotionally fraught trip. Now, Bailey and Charlie are still polar opposites, but instead of everything about him rubbing Bailey the wrong way, she starts to look forward to hanging out.

Historia
Everyone expected Violet Sorrengail to die during her first year at Basgiath War College-Violet included. But Threshing was only the first impossible test meant to weed out the weak-willed, the unworthy, and the unlucky. Now the real training begins, and Violet’s already wondering how she’ll get through. It’s not just that it’s grueling and maliciously brutal, or even that it’s designed to stretch the riders’ capacity for pain beyond endurance. It’s the new vice commandant, who’s made it his personal mission to teach Violet exactly how powerless she is–unless she betrays the man she loves.

So good!
Revisado: 11-09-23
So I’ll start off by saying that I loved Fourh Wing. I really felt like the pace of the story kept me on edge and I could not put it down so I had really built up the sequel. After finishing Iron Flame, I absolutely enjoyed the expansion of characters and storybuilding. The pace of the novel was a little slow in certain parts but it picked up nicely around the halfway mark so no complaints over all. I genuinely cannot wait until the next book and the others that follow!

Historia
Harriet and Wyn have been the perfect couple since they met in college—they go together like salt and pepper, honey and tea, lobster and rolls. Except, now—for reasons they’re still not discussing—they don’t. They broke up five months ago. And still haven’t told their best friends.

Great Read!
Revisado: 06-13-23
Overall this was a great read! Without spoiling the story there were times where I felt like it dragged a little. I loved the characters and really felt like they had been fleshed out and each had gone through a journey of growth.
