Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Moving story
Revisado: 02-06-24
It was nice to hear so much actual facts about a royal’s life and get a glimpse into that world. Moving story about Harry’s (and family) life.

Fantastic Listen
Revisado: 03-10-22
I got this book as a recommendation from a friend. I really enjoyed the author’s point of view and her reading of it. I’m sad it’s over! I feel like I know the patients from the stories and am invested in them!
I recommend this book to everyone to learn more about therapy, therapists, therapy patients and what we go through as people trying to get by in this world.

Don't waste your time
Revisado: 06-15-20
This series was suggested to me by my uncle that is an avid sci-fi fan. The last series he suggested was incredible and this was his next series to read.
I honestly feel like I'm being punked. The first book was really boring. The characters were not interesting and it seems to throw in sex for no reason. There are so many details that lead to no payoff. It's like he was getting paid per page. I was assured that each book gets better and that is not true.
This book was equally bad. New characters that could be interesting but just end up being boring with no depth. The story just goes on and on and then just suddenly comes to an end. This feels like a solid amateur attempt, but far short of anything note worthy.
Again the author just randomly throws in sex to try and keep the reader interested. I could appreciate it if the writing was good. If it's going to be smutty at least make it good smut. Toward the end of the book I started to wonder if this was just an attempt to justify his beastiality urges. This dude seems to be infatuated with lesbians and fudging horses.
I cannot recommend this book on any level.

Historia
Cent has a secret. She lives in isolation, with her parents, hiding from the people who took her father captive and tortured him to gain control over his ability to teleport, and from the government agencies who want to use his talent. Cent has seen the world, but only from the safety of her parents' arms. She's teleported more than anyone on Earth, except for her mother and father, but she's never been able to do it herself. Her life has never been in danger. Until the day when she went snowboarding without permission and triggered an avalanche. When the snow and ice thundered down on her, she suddenly found herself in her own bedroom.

Very Okay
Revisado: 12-11-18
Likes: Her whole goal is to push you to better yourself and accomplish whatever it is you want to better yourself. She used embarrassing or sad moments from her past as examples to connect. The last chapter about accepting and listening to those who are different from you makes you stronger. That resonated with me.
Dislikes: The audio came off somewhat muffled at times like she moved away from the mic, or they inserted a re-recorded piece after the fact. I didn’t realize the book included so much about her faith and scriptures. And twice she mentioned how pornography was “bad” and everyone gets hurt, etc. I just don’t agree. I was surprised that she is so open to you doing what you want, but that one thing she decided was wrong.

Great story
Revisado: 12-05-18
This was a great story of her life that ended up being about hope. It’s refreshing to hear the point of view of someone we read about in the news, but rarely heard their own words.
It’s a long book, so settle in ;) as always, she was poised and well spoken without using overly complex wording so every listener could follow along.
Early stories from her youth were also tied back into adulthood lessons later on which I enjoyed. It’s keeps you engaged.

loved it
Revisado: 12-05-18
It's a different story than the movie, but Just as entertaining. I really enjoyed it. My only complaint is the audio always seemed to start half a second late and would cut off the first syllable. The narrator would say "she" but you would here "he" which got confusing. If you get past that it was really entertaining.
