Great story, narration can get confusing though

This story was amazing. The character development and plot were great. The narration got a little confusing at parts though. I couldn’t tell if it was a thought or spoken out loud some times. And the different voices sometimes bled into each other. It would take me out of the story every so often, but overall it was worth it. Very well done book

This book was great! I loved the story but the narration was sometimes difficult to follow since the voices would bleed into each other including the non spoken parts and spoken. Other than that, this was fantastic!

Stina isn’t the best but the book is

I love this whole series and Stina Nielsen does a good job of narrating for the most part, but she misreads the book quite a lot. I usually have the kindle version going while I listen to the audio so I’m able to pick up on it when. Some misreads are worse than others and it can change the tone of what’s written by the author. But other than that this book is great. I highly recommend it.

LOVE this series not a fan of this narrator

The narrator has misspoken over a dozen words. I only know this because I’m reading the kindle version while listing to it. At one point she says “casteel” when the book says, “kieran”. Another time she adds “not” to the sentence which completely changes the tone of what’s being said. These are just 2 examples but there are dozens. I’m very disappointed about it because the book is so great and addicting! I’m always yearning to read more of this book but I enjoy listening to them. I just wish she was more accurate in her reading.

Bad narrator but great book!

I could hear background noise every so often when listening to this one. It was loud enough to pull me out of the narrative some times. The book itself is great though. It takes place not too long after the novella and I loved hearing from Nesta and Castor’s point of views. Nesta is a bada$$.

Fantastic end to the trilogy of The One

Nora Roberts did it again! This trilogy finally came to an end in a brilliant fashion. I loved all the varied characters and descriptive scenery. Plus Julia Whelan did a great job at narrating it. All around A+

Dam Stevens did fantastic, but the book is tedious

The wording of this 1818 book is definitely hard to get through on the 21st century. I can't hate it too much though. Frankenstein is a classic and without it, the monster genre would never be the same. However much I didn't like the book, Dan Stevens did fantastic narrating it! He brought drama and romance and horror into a tedious old classic. Wonderfully done.

Narration and story just okay

Will Patton is great on screen, but having just his voice makes the story hard to follow.
The story was very gory, understandable... But it took a long time to get the actually line going.

Rosario Dawson did a perfect job narrating this and Andy Weir wrote a great story line that is intriguing and witty.

Good storyline bad narration

It was hard to follow some of the dialogue because the narrators made many of the voices sound the same. And their speaking voice and narration were similar as well. This was mainly from the woman side but the mans wasn't much better.
