Couldn’t get past the narrator

The story had a good flow and theme. I recommend listening to a snippet first though. I couldn’t finish because the narrator was a little too “breathy” for my taste and distracted me from true story.

This is one of the best “impulse” audibles I’ve ever purchased - that’s saying a lot if you could see my library. The story was beyond amazing, so touching with great humor and the narrators were phenomenal!! I was thrilled at the ending but also sad.. I wanted the listen to go on and on!! Do yourself a tremendous favor and get this audible!!

The author brilliantly takes you not just on the road trip but on life's discovery. Funny, poignant and endearing. Absolutely loved this story!

You are given glimpses of the past, and just when you're saying "I wish I knew more about.," the author enlightens you. Brilliant work!
What does Sue Pitkin and Tessa Marts bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The inflections and verbal description brings the road trip to life that is often overlooked as we read, in such a hurry to get to the next part of the story.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Absolutely!!

When I find an author I enjoy, I immediately want to savor more of their works. I was so saddened to know throughout the book that this was the only gift we'd have from Jane Lotter. Her family should be proud of the joy her only work gives to readers/listeners.
