I cannot believe this was a free listen on Audible. The only aggravating part, was that I couldn't get anything done because I kept wanting to listen to find out how this ended. Lost a day of good productivity! The narrator did a great job and I will look for other books by this author.

Completely sucked in to the world at Lake Claire

When I started listening, I was not immediately drawn to the story. But once it made a little progress, I absolutely loved entering the world with these four sisters. I was quite sad when it was over, and hope there will be a sequel of some sort! They did a good job differentiating between the voices, but overall, the voice did sound a little older than these ladies were supposed to be. But take a listen to this fun story, I don't think you'll be sorry!

The story was fun! But, like other reviewer's have said, it could've been cut by a lot, and been better. The female narrator was good except when she is speaking as the guy, the accent is a bit offputting. The guy narrator was good, but he just sounded a lot older than a 30 something year old. It kept being hard for me to picture him in his 30s.

You want to try to like the main character but he was very very unlikable. Even the voice and the tones I found irritating. Have loved all of the audible originals, but did not care for this one at all.

Sound editing problematic.

Such a great story, and the acting was excellent! However, the sound editing was very off as many times I could not make out the dialogue even listening over and over. They had the background sounds louder than the dialogue. Add in the accents and it was very difficult to understand through parts. I do hope there's a part two to see where all this leads, but I hope they will emphasize the voices and let the background noises be in the background.
