Historia
For Stefanie Wilder-Taylor, alcohol was the seasoning that could give almost any activity more flavor—from liquor cabinet concoctions in high school to tequila shots in her early stand-up comedy days to grocery store wine in young motherhood. A drink instantly took the edge off and made even the most difficult adversary (be it a tough crowd in a comedy club or a judgmental PTA mom) not just bearable but fun.

Honesty and Familiarity
Revisado: 01-19-24
Excellent story about normalizing the honest truth on sobriety and how we can all find something in our daily loves that can consume us with the need to indulge. Whether it is sugar, alcohol, food, coffee anything in our daily lives can become unmanageable and also completely normalized behavior by those in our inner circle. Also, a fellow twin mom with kids in the Nicu I know the overwhelming feeling that causes us to internalize and retrieve inwardly. Stefanie Wilder-Taylor is one of my favorite story tellers, even if it is a story at the PTA fundraiser that went haywire its the honesty in those moments that is captivating, relatable and hilarious.
