Historia
This book is a guide for leaders seeking to build a community, to strengthen the community they already have, or who may not think of themselves as community leaders but who are envisioning a group they hope to create. These communities can be formal, with official memberships and administrations, or informal, tied by shared values and commitments.

Prepare to extrapolate
Revisado: 11-16-22
This is an excellent book about community, but focuses heavily on religious and social groups. The principles certainly apply to government and business, but the terminology and concepts will need to be reinterpreted / translated to your world.

Historia
From an early age, it is drilled into our heads: Restlessness, distraction, and ignorance are the enemies of success. We’re told that learning is all self-discipline, that we must confine ourselves to designated study areas, turn off the music, and maintain a strict ritual if we want to ace that test, memorize that presentation, or nail that piano recital. But what if almost everything we were told about learning is wrong?

Best learning book ever!
Revisado: 08-28-17
As an instructional designer, I read a lot on adult learning theory and have to translate a nugget or two here or there into practice on my own. This book is full of so many practical takeaways and gimmes to really help learning stick. Simply the best at providing simple, practical, research based approaches to helping others learn!

Incredibly useful
Revisado: 08-04-17
The accents the narrator uses for the quotes in the "what people say about them" sections are distracting and obnoxious.
The book is amazing and garners significant insights and tips/tactics for improving EQ.
