Wonderfully Amazing
Revisado: 07-17-24
At first this book irritated me. Which now I know had nothing to do with the writer or the reader. Kudos to both, amazing job ladies. I was in a place in my life that wouldn’t allow me to receive what I needed from this book. I now understand, respect and appreciate. I am at a great place in my life to receive and allow the energy of the universe to flow through me. My advice to anyone let go and let flow and the ONE will do the rest. I recommend this book and the three before this one, all excellent reads.

Historia
Ever have one of those days where life just plain sucks? Welcome to my last three months - ever since I caught my can’t-be-soon-enough-ex-husband cheating with his paralegal. I’m 35 years old, and I’ve lost my NYC apartment, my job, my money, and frankly, my dignity. But the final heartache in the suck sandwich of my life? My great-aunt Maggie died. The only family member who’s ever gotten me. Even after death, though, she’s helping me get back up again. Too bad that bravado only lasts as long as it takes to drive into Huckleberry Hills. And see the house.

Historia
What Doesn't Kill You is the story of how Thomasina Hodges, a.k.a. Tee, loses her job and finds herself. Tee's evolution after her sudden and unexpected outplacement, is loosely based on the stages of grief - denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance, relinquishing, readjusting, and reinvesting. For Tee, losing her job is like a death, but with time, and some bumps, bruises and a new attitude, she comes out on the other side, having reassessed what's important in her life.

This book was fantastic! This hits home for me. I would read again. I first feel in love with the authors when I read “trying to sleep in the bed you made” years ago also incredible. Well done ladies I liked the changing up on the reading and first I was thrown off but then it made sense thank you.
