Yvonne gets it!!!
Revisado: 03-01-23
The title intrigued me. I'd never heard of Yvonne or watched Insecure. I had to know what this bamboozled adventure was though. She shares with such authenticity that is rare. A treasure. I don't come from a Nigerian background, but she's so relatable in her life experiences and walk of faith that reaches out way beyond a sermon on Sundays. If you need a wake up call, a best friend to tell it to yiu straight, inspiration to face the coming days in your journey or even a downright belly laugh... you gotta check this out. Find out how you're being bamboozled! Definitely recommend the audio version as hearing Yvonne speak with tone, passion and humor... you'll be hooked!
PS: I've now checked out her show Insecure. It only strengthened my respect for her as a writer, an actress, a comedian and most important a daughter of the King of Kings. God Bless and thank you for sharing your faith Yvonne. ❤️

Depends on the Audience reading
Revisado: 01-10-19
This book has been raved about by some and from my perspective parts of it really were good. Some of it was just ok, and other parts meh. I'm 40, my kids are starting to leave the nest and that's where my viewpoint is from. This might be spectacular for a new young mom, especially a career driven one, but I walk away feeling parts came across either whiny or sounded like bragging. It might just be me. Regardless I feel it was still worth finishing.
