I was on the fence with this series after the first book. The second book sealed the deal. There is nothing this series does that sets it apart from others like it. The MC comes off as unintelligent and hard to root for. The writer needs to strongly work on making characters enjoyable and provide a better plot. Save your credit and look at another series. DO NOT BUY

I normally don't mind the mc being a bit of an ass. The mc in this makes me want to toss the writer in sewage like he does with some of the people in this book. Screw this book and to the author. Learn to write worthwhile characters. POS writing

Adding American politics in a fantasy book wrecks the immersion

I loved the first book. Was full of anticipation for this novel up until the Trump derangement syndrome hit the author. You can hate the President if you want. But when you are writing a fantasy novel then keep your politics to yourself. If I wanted to listen to a bunch of whiney women I'd watch the view. Not going to bother with this series if the author is going to bring this crap up.

I'm starting to think some of the positive reviews are fake. Scroll down and you see a lot of actual reviews. This was a rush job of a story. No depth, no heart, no story. The voice actor matched the story. Bland and bad at their job. Keep your credit.

Kept me riveted to the end and craving more Battletech goodness. This is a must have for any lover of sci-fi let alone Battletech.

Damn good yes YES!!

This had me binge listening from start to end wondering how things were to end. A rollercoaster of enjoyment with characters you will root for and others you crave brought low. Buy it or Quick the headtaker may decide to add yours to his trophy rack.

One of the worst 40K titles I've listened too

The voice actor was horrible. He did not sound like a Smurf or a chaos Smurf he sounded like A barista at Starbucks. The Silver Templars are comically stupid and come off as braindead. The Alpha Legion whom you would think would be battle hardened cunning chaos marines sound like petulant children. This is not the Grim Dark 40k universe we love it's a modern day farce that belongs in a dumpster. Seriously, the writer should not be allowed to write 40k novels if this is all they are capable of. Hate this one so much.

Sad to see this story come to an end

This series has brought me back to the 40k universe with fervor. The story like the prior two lives up to what made it such an enthralling adventure. One of if not my favorite all time WH40K series if not one of my favorite series of all time. You will not be disappointed.

Worth it for Frank and House

The epic saga continues with Frank, House, and I guess the mc but c'mon. We all know we are here to watch House own Frank and his Frank points. Will the MC win the heart of his guild leader? Will there be clowns involved! See for yourself and buy the audiobook already yeesh!
